The Necklace || 3 Days

POV: Toya's
Day: Saturday
Time: 10AM
Place: Home

I sat down angrily in the car, slamming the door. While I was getting dressed a few minutes ago, RJ took the necklace the twins and Jac gave to me for my 21st birthday and flushed it down the toilet. I mean he literally unsteadily walked over to the toilet, dropped it in and flushed it.

Jac brought RJ into the car, getting him strapped in and the twins sat on either sides of him. Jac got in the front and started driving. Today, we're going to see one of the houses. Jac rested his hand on my knee and squeezed it.

Jac: "Baby, it's okay."

I sighed and crossed my arms. I'm also a little upset and sad because Jac's leaving for a business trip. Three whole days of conferences in LA. I pouted at the thought and I felt Jac poke my lips. I looked to see we were in a line of traffic.

I looked at him and he had a ridiculous facial expression. I couldn't help but laugh.

Jac: "Don't worry about the necklace."
Toya: (nodding) "I really don't want you to go to LA."
Jac: "I know. I don't wanna go either but it's important. It's about all the company locations and construction."
Toya: "Why can't they meet here?"
Jac: "I didn't know until yesterday. I would've done that. They've already payed for all the conference locations."
Toya: (sighing)
Jac: (kissing my cheek and continuing to drive)

About 45 minutes later, we pulled up to this house where a few other cars where. We got out and Jac held RJ up in my face. He was sucking his thumb with a sad look. I guess he can sense I'm mad.

Jac: "Talk to our son and meet us inside." (giving me RJ)

Jac gave me a playful grin and went inside with the twins following behind him. I laughed then looked at RJ who was staring up in my face...As if he's trying to read me. He's just like his daddy.

RJ: "Mommy." (touching my face)

I sighed and smiled at him. "I'm sorry for yelling at you..." He returned a smile. "Even though I'm sure you didn't understand half of it." I said, rolling my eyes playfully. He giggled and I kissed his nose. I put him down and held his hand, helping him walk inside the place.

In here is really nice. I heard Jac's voice so I followed it and we ended up in the dining room area of the house. The twins were surprisingly standing there, quietly. I guess that aszwhooping taught them something. I laughed at the thought. Jac looked at me and flashed that breath-taking smile. I blushed, it will always get to me.

He chuckled and turned back to the saleswoman, I'm just guessing. I signaled the twins over to me. I fixed Alana's bang and adjusted the bow on Alisa's hair. "You guys like the house so far?"

Alana: "Ehh..It's alright."
Alisa: "I liked our old one better."
Alana: (mumbling) "Crazy people just burning down people's houses. Like what the he-"
Toya: "Aye! Watch your mouth. I can hear you."
Alana: "Sorry."
Twins: (laughing)

I couldn't help but smile and RJ started laughing too. He doesn't even know why he's laughing. I shook my head as Jac walked over to us.

Jac: "You good?"
Toya: "Great. =)"
Jac: "That's what I like to hear."

He put one hand on my waist and kissed me, with his other hand on my cheek. We heard the twins laughing. We pulled away and RJ took his hand away from mine and clapped. We exchanged smiles.

POV: Toya's
Day: Saturday
Time: 3PM
Place: Airport

I pulled up to the airport with Jac on the passenger side. The kids are with Stina. She's taking them to get measured and to choose clothes for the photoshoot I'm doing with them. I smiled at the thought then frowned because my baby's leaving. My hands are still on the wheel, I could drive off.

Jac turned my head, holding my chin, and kissed me. He pulled away and pressed his forehead against mine.

Jac: "I'll be back sooner than you know."

"I hope." He faintly smiled and we both got out. I popped the trunk and he got out his suitcase. He closed it and we stood on the walkway outside the building. I placed my thumbs in my front pockets and let the rest of my fingers stay out. I looked down, then up at him. "I'm over exaggerating, aren't I?"

I heard him chuckle and he grabbed my waist.

Jac: "Not really. It just shows how much you love me. Trust me, I don't wanna go." (rubbing his nose against mine)
Toya: "I don't quite remember you being this affectionate. =)" (caressing his cheek)
Jac: "I'm a little offended but it's the kids that have caused this."

I laughed as he kissed me one more time.

Jac: "I love you so much."

"I love you too." We exchanged smiles and hugged. When we pulled out of the hug, he rolled off into the building and waved at me. I waved at him and stayed there until I couldn't see him anymore. Get yourself together, it's only 3 days. I can do this.

I got back in the car and drove off.
