A.N.: Woah, it's been a while! I'm proud to continue this, there's so much to tell 😁 Off we go!

Jungkook carried a passed-out Leah inside the clinic with Ella on his heels. He quickly put her on a familiar bed and let Ella take a look at her. He observed the doctor checking on her before silently getting an IV going while he pulled at his hair nervously, completely unsettled. He did his best to stay calm this whole time, but now his nerves were getting to him. He was about to burst and he didn't know how it was going to happen.

"She's asleep for now," Ella said. She had a grim expression, with her disheveled short dark hair and yellow pajamas. She grabbed his left arm not so gently, "Let's give her space."

She dragged him out and he stole a glimpse of Leah before she shut the door. Behind him, Somsak arrived with Aaden and Namjoon. Ella let go of him and moved to sit by her desk with a deep frown.

"Are you okay?" Namjoon was worried as he walked up to Jungkook and used both hands to shake his shoulders. "What the hell happened?"

Jungkook was about to ask how come his right arm was loose, but Aaden spoke first. "Every detail, tell us everything that happened."

He was starting to sweat and he hated it. His nerves were on edge and he was an inch away from something. Everyone was looking at him while his mind did overtime. Should he tell them? What if they did lock her away? Or harm her? He couldn't risk that. But they were at war, right? He almost died, he was sure to have died for a second. If it wasn't for her, he would have. She saved him. That had to matter, it mattered so much to him.

"Kook..." Namjoon pleaded, becoming concerned. He couldn't recall ever seeing such an expression on the maknae's face before.

"We were out northeast, in the jungle, about two or three kilometers from the river," his voice sounded disconnected to him. He closed his eyes. "It was already dusk when we came across a house and it looked important. I entered it alone, and while I was in there, a man suddenly showed up."

"Suddenly, what do you mean suddenly?" Somsak asked.

"Description. Who is this man? Anything you can tell us about him," Aaden pressed, taking a step forward.

Jungkook shook his head. "Does it matter? He wasn't home when I walked in, he must have arrived after."

"Of course it matters!" Aaden pushed. "If the house looked important then he might be important. We need to assess the ramifications of what happened—"

"I said she defended me!"

"I don't care!" Aaden yelled back, taking another step. Namjoon placed himself in between them with a grave expression. Aaden, however, was calm, "I don't care why she killed him, I care what's the likelihood of the murder compromising our location."

Jungkook blinked, unsure. Shit, he hadn't thought that far.

"This should have never happened," Aaden added with a deep breath, turning to walk back to Somsak. "Even with the tatau, they shouldn't have been allowed to—"

"We're free to do whatever we want!" Jungkook barked back, pissed at his nagging.

"Yes, clearly," he scorned, pointing at Leah's room. Namjoon felt Jungkook's body ready to react and quickly glanced at him with a telling look. "Now, back to what matters. Anything you can give us about the guy?"

"He was bald and..." His voice trailed off. "Leah took the guy's wallet, where's her backpack?"

"I put it there," Ella's tired voice sounded, pointing to the black backpack by the entrance of Leah's room.
