Warning! Angst!Kaveh woke up at the sound of his mother going down the stairs. kavehs blonde hair covered his face. His eyes were open yet he saw nothing but darkness, he got up from his bed but fell down he felt weak. He gritted his teeth. It had been 2 weeks since his father well... Dissapeared kaveh felt confused yet sad nothing could happen to his dad, Right?
Kaveh got up, his eyes tired he turned around and walked towards the windows, he opened the curtains, he stopped to take a look at them.
-
"hey kaveh!" a man with dirty blonde hair exclaimed "yea?" said kaveh as he turned around. His father held a piece of cloth, it was a pearl white with roses of a very light pink shade. Kavehs eyes lit up from the beauty of it "I - its-" kaveh was speechless at its beauty, the embroidery was angels work! "beautiful, isn't it?" his father said.
"isn't this the same design for moms wedding dress?"
Kaveh tilted his head studying the design more closely "you're right! In fact, the reason we chose this design for your mother, was because I met her in a garden of white roses. It was love at first sight."
Kaveh bonked his head up at the heart warming story, Kaveh smiled happily, it sounded oh so romantic!-
Kaveh looked down, snapping back to reality as he saw the street lights on the street was completely devoid of people since it was night. But there were people at the front door, Kaveh looked more carefully only to see the Matra. They were soaked from the rain, Kaveh opened the windows and tried to listen to anything but, he couldn't hear anything, the rain drowned out any sound possible.
Suddenly, the windows shined brightly for a bright flash of lightning struck Kaveh's eyes. Kaveh was mesmerized and stood there wide eyed, but then of course the speed of light is faster than sound, so in a few moments later, a loud sound appeared shocking kaveh enough to suddenly make him move the windows shut slamming his finger between it on accident.
Kaveh winced in pain. He went over to the door and opened it quietly out curiosity but tip toed to the stairs only to see, his mother on her knees at the front door."no..." Kaveh's Mother mumbled under her breath. "HE CAN'T BE! HE CAN'T BE DEAD! HE JUST CAN'T BE!" his mother cried out, she was fully crying now.
"mom..?" Kaveh said softly holding his own hand shakily.
His mother turned her head around "it's OK kaveh, it's o-" her sentence was interrupted, Kaveh's face was in shock. "YOU LIAR!" Kaveh shouted his face down "DADDYS NOT COMING HOME IS HE?!" Kaveh cried out gruesomely. He began to tear up. "WHY WOULD YOU START TO LIE IF I'M RIGHT BEHIND YOU? LISTENING!" kaveh cried out.
The Matra stared at the little boys agony.
Kavehs mother cried. "Sweetie, Kaveh come here." Kaveh's mother fully turned around reaching, her hands out for kaveh.
Kavehs eyes widened, he stepped back once, then again. "NO... No no no no no NO NO!!!" Kaveh cried. He ran to his room, shutting the door close. He fell onto his bed sobbing. "I hate this..." Kaveh mumbled crying.
He looked at the curtain remembering, his father's sweet smile.
Then Kaveh thought.
"I told father to join the interdarshan competition, he lost. He ran away because he lost and he died in the desert because he ran away. He lost because... I told him to join."Kaveh trembled.
"it's my fault isn't it?"
"He died because of me right?""I-"
Kaveh's eyes widened.
"I killed him."
