Chapter 11

Liyue

As Kaveh woke up he started packing his necessities. He took about an hour or 2 before going over to Alhaitham to check if he was ready. But he wasn't there. Kaveh started scrambling around to find him until he saw a note from Alhaitham

Dear Kaveh,

You were taking to long to get ready, so I took the opportunity to go to Tighnari and Cyno to get them. Maybe Nilou to but I saw her practicing on stage for a small performance in Sumeru. I left breakfast on the counter for you. So please hurry we'll be waiting at the tavern for you we'll just get a quick snack then go.

Kaveh was embarrassed everyone was waiting on him. He walked over to the counter and began to eat on the couch while scrambling for some papers. What papers you ask well, he was searching for some of the blue prints he kept from the jade chamber he decided to take it with him so he could maybe get on the jade chamber with help from one of the qixing.

Kaveh found the old blue prints, finished eating and left for the tavern.

On the way he saw Nilou walking towards the tavern too, so they walked together. They finally came in the tavern. "huh! Collei what are you doing here?" asked Kaveh confused.

"well we couldn't leave Collei alone plus, she wouldn't stop begging to come along. Heck shouting!" Tighnari said.

"yes she wouldn't stop colleing out." Cyno said everyone stared at him. "Cyno..."

"oh? You don't get it? Collei was calling out so I mixe-" Cyno began to explain his pun.
"pretend I didn't say anything." Kaveh said in distaste.
Collei laughed at their reactions. "I thought it was funny!" Nilou said happily. Nilou was always happy she always kept her mood up no matter what!
They started talking a bit. Until Kaveh realized something. Kaveh went over to the bar and asked for a glass of wine Alhaitham followed before Kaveh could start chugging Alhaitham took his cup away. "HE-" "boss take this away." Alhaitham handed the glass of wine to the bartender. "haitham...." Kaveh grumbled. Kaveh accidently dropped his old blue prints while walking away to continue talking to Cyno, Tighnari, Collei and Nilou. Alhaitham picked up the blue prints looking at them. "the jade chamber? Kaveh worked on it?"
Alhaitham paused. Alhaitham had read multiple books about the jade chamber. He never knew Kaveh helped make it.

"Kaveh, you worked on the jade chamber?" Alhaitham asked looking at Kaveh. Kaveh turned around smirking. "Yes I did. You're interested, right? And you said architecture is worth nothing!" Kaveh laughed pointing at Alhaitham. Alhaitham rolled up the paper and grabbed it harshly, hitting Kaveh with it.

They all laughed but Kaveh but soon enough left the tavern to start their journey to Liyue.

Once they made it to Liyue it was night. So they stayed at a hotel.
The next morning Nilou said she had to go meet up with Yun Jin to rehearse. And suddenly Kaveh heard a knock outside the room he was staying at, he opened it only to see a flying tiny human with white hair followed by the traveler/Lumine.

"Kaveh! How's it going? Also Paimon had a dream that you had sticky honey roast!" Paimon said taking a look around. "sorry about Paimon she just got super hungry, heck she ate my fried radish balls!" Lumine said embarrassed about Paimon.

"Lumine?" Alhaitham said as he walked over to the front door. "oh you two are sharing a room?" Lumine asked. "yes because I'm not paying kaveh is, he dragged us along but he doesn't have much mora." Alhaitham said as they let Lumine walk in. "ALHAITHAM!" Kaveh said flustered and embarrassed his face turning red.

As Kaveh began fighting with Alhaitham Lumine sat on the couch while Paimon just flew on top. "love birds." Paimon said with a sumg face.
"for real." Lumine agreed both of them enjoying the dumb fight.

Soon enough everyone was ready to start exploring Liyue so they went out excited for the lantern rite experience.
