Chapter 29

Arrival

Alhaitham, Tighnari, Cyno, and Collei finally made it to Inazuma excited for the festival. Inazuma was already decorated nicely, there were banners out (like the ones for iridori festival.) adorning the streets of Inazuma. Yoimiya was walking around with the same enthusiastic personality. "Ah! Hi there! You guys came a few years ago right? I'm so glad you came back umm.... It was Alhaitham, Tighnari, Cyno, and Collei, right!" Yoimiya said. Alhaitham smiled but just thinking about a few years ago made him think of his old lover Kaveh. Ever since his death Alhaitham would visit every month on the anniversary of his death leaving flowers sayings his wishes. One day when Alhaitham visited Kavehs grave, Tighnari was there and Alhaitham asked why Tighnari wanted them together. Tighnari simply replied that "I felt like the tsundere vibe between you guys was really cute, but one day I could tell... You 2 truly loved each other." It was true what Tighnari said. And Alhaitham truly missed Kaveh.

Ayaka and Ayato were walking together drinking Boba as Thoma discussed with a shrine maiden if they could give some stuff to Yae. Yoimiya said she had to go talk to a friend since they were asking questions about fireworks for their book. Collei explored Inazuma since it had been years since she last came. Alhaitham looked around noticing the Yae Publishing House with 2 people talking in front of it. One with beautiful golden hair like the sun, and the other with pink hair the color of sakuras. The one with pink hair reminded him of Yae Miko but the golden blonde he couldn't place his finger on. The blonde had a messy bun with a pencil stuck in it as the blonde quickly ran away after the conversation. Alhaitham didn't dwell on it that much.

Tighnari and Collei were buying tonsof souvenirs for friends at home and for themselves while Cyno was challenged by once again The Arataki Numeru Uno Itto. Alhaitham walked by the alchemy table noticing a lady there who seemed to be from sumeru. The lady mentioned another sumerian that helped her build a desk for her projects on alchemy. Alhaitham thought it was nice there was people of all places in Inazuma.

The sakuras were beautiful, as Alhaitham basked in all their glory and elegance. This time the 4 went to Watatsumi island learning more about orobashi and the people in habiting Watatsumi Island. They talked to Sangonomiya Kokomi and Gorou. They also met a member of the Arataki gang named Kuki.

The next day Collei went to go read light novels and buy some there was even a fair of light novels where you could get discounts and stuff like that. Tighnari picked some books looking at them skeming through the pages quickly. In a bit it would be the summer festival so a certain girl came up to them.

"Alhaitham! Tighnari! Cyno! Collie! Over here! Me and Ayaka have to tell you something!" Yoimiya exclaimed waving at Collei. The 4 walked over sitting at the stallwhere they ordered Dango Milk. "so me and Ayaka as well as Ayato thought if you guys came here to celebrate the Summer festival we should get you the attire for it. So we bought some traditional Inazuma attire.! I hope you like it! It's on us!" Yoimiya smiled handing them clothes. It was Kimonos with Haoris for Alhaitham, Tighnari, And Cyno. while they gave Collei a colorful Kimono.

They accepted the gifts feeling bad since it cost quite a bit of mora but were still honored for the clothing.

The next day Alhaitham took off in Inazuma exploring Naurukami Island noticing a peculiar figure in Konda Village. "Oh! Hey!! It's you! Alhaitham right?" shouted a boy in the village. Alhaitham was confused on how the boy knew him, approaching the boy noticing the boy had 2 braids the were black fading into and aqua blue like the wind noticing it was the bard Kaveh befriended in Mond.

"Oh.! hello." Alhaitham said a little caught off guard. Venti tilted his head in confusion. "where's your friend? He stopped writing to me." Venti asked not knowing what had happened.

"oh... Um.... Kaveh, h-he Passed away..." Alhaitham said looking down. Venti eyes widened a little. "oh... That's, sad. But, whenever your alone in Teyvat the stars will always be there for you. And as they say in Mond. You kinda have to 'Let the wind lead.' right?" Venti said. Even though he technically was an archon. Death was something that he could never get used to even it humans seem like the wind, there one moment and the next gone. forever. Alhaitham said goodbye to Venti as Venti continue his way to Inazuma City Alhaitham noticed a blonde admiring the sakuras. Alhaitham walked over wanting to admire the sakuras noticed the boy suddenly sprinted and left but for a second, Alhaitham saw his face it looked like,
