Chapter 38

Surprise!

Kaveh, Alhaitham, Tighnari, And Cyno had a fun time playing TCG but of course Tighnari wouldn't stop teasing Kaveh, so Kaveh couldn't stay sober, obviously I mean, he's a literal alcoholic he hadn't changed his old ways, not one bit.

"another glass boss!" Kaveh shouted accidentally dropping his TCG cards and Cyno, knew exactly how to beat him now.

"whhaaatt! How did I lose..!?" Kaveh exclaimed his face pink. "tsk, tsk!" Cyno tsked as the victor. "keep your cards close to your chest!" Cyno exclaimed jokingly.

Alhaitham just stared at Kaveh blandly. "because your cards fell because you were dru-" Alhaitham was interrupted rather quickly.

"YEAH I KNOW!" Kaveh shouted annoyed. "I think we should go home." Alhaitham said. "yeah that's true, it's getting late." Tighnari agreed, finishing his glass, standing up. "fine..." Kaveh pouted standing up, not well though so Alhaitham grabbed his hand making him blush more.

Cyno stood up putting his cards in his casket of tomes. Kaveh and Alhaitham exited out with Tighnari and Cyno as Tighnari left for the Avidya Forest and Cyno left for the desert.

Alhaitham and Kaveh started walking to their house as Kaveh barely payed attention to anything.

"I'm going to go sleep now..." Kaveh said tiredly as he walked slowly to his bedroom. Alhaitham on the other hand got changed and went to sleep. Kaveh didn't actually go to sleep. Kaveh instead fixed his room a little more even though he was drunk.

"I'm gonna go to sleep..." Kaveh mumbled finally going to sleep.

Birds tweeted as the bright sun appeared before Alhaithams eyes, he got up and decided to change into his normal clothes heading for the kitchen to eat an apple.

Alhaitham began reading a book on the couch while eating the apple, Kaveh woke up a few hours later since he was tired but, Alhaitham had already left for his bedroom.

"My stomach hurts...! Alhaitham was right I shouldn't drink that much... But, no! He's wrong. I drink in a... Responsible way..!" Kaveh thought going over to the kitchen "maybe some food will help." Kaveh mumbled.

Kaveh began making his favorite food, The Endeavor, it was a dish his father taught him before he passed away, it wasn't Kavehs favorite dish, but now he just called it his favorite, maybe it's because it reminds him of his father.

Kaveh grabbed crackers and made a tiny palace of Alcazarzaray, just like the time he got his vision.

"done!" Kaveh smiled ready to eat his dish, but before that... Kaveh looked over at the kitchen. "Would Alhaitham be angry that I touched his food.... I won't take chances." Kaveh mumbled and walked over cleaning the kitchen like a crime scene.

Kaveh decided to make some food for Alhaitham too since he didn't know if Alhaitham had eaten anything yet. Kaveh after all that, began eating his tiny palace of Alcazarzaray peacefully while also drawing in his sketchbook.

"Good morning." said Alhaitham as he walked out of his room with a book noticing Kaveh finally woke up. "good morni-Ah! YOU'RE AWAKE! YOU SCARED ME FOR A SECOND." Kaveh got up facing Alhaitham.

"did you make breakfast?" Alhaitham asked noticing Kavehs dish. Kaveh simply nodded and quickly finished eating. "I'm gonna go... Finish cleaning my bedroom and fully unpacking!" Kaveh exclaimed but before leaving Alhaitham stopped him. "wait... How long are you staying for?" Alhaitham asked. Kaveh simply said "you'll see!" and left.
