Chapter 17

The domain

Kaveh talked with the client. "so how come youre building these houses? I mean, want to." Kaveh asked,  curiosity getting to him. "ah, it's because I think it'd be great to have an area of rest hear for adventurers and explorers like myself!" giggled the man. The man was sweet and kind his when talking they would sit in a small camp he set up since he was an adventurer. Kaveh was still confused about the blades it didn't seem like they were there for a long time.

" I couldn't help but notice blades a while ago back over there. Are they yours?" Kaveh asked pointing his finger to the area. "well actually I used to work on the Matra but decided to take things easier and started adventuring I must've dropped my blades there during the attack." the man said. "what attack?" Kaveh asked tilting his head confused. "there have been monsters trying to come out of this domain. They did suceed once but I was able to handle them as an ex Matra member." the man said. "I was actually hoping you could help clear the domain out for me I will obviously help too! It's just I could use an extra hand since what good is it to make a shelter for adventurers if the monsters will just destroy it?" said the man pleading for help. "sure. I came here to help, I shall travel anywhere you wish depending on the work." Kaveh smiled reassuring the man it was OK if he needed help.

They decided to walk over to the domain walking in until Kaveh stopped. He bent down noticing the desert fox was still following him. He told the desert fox to go now since they would enter somewhere dangerous. They started exploring the domain defeating the countless monsters there were. The domain was big but it was OK. Kaveh and the man didn't go to a certain area since it was far to dangerous the man explained saying there was a gas there making delusions of reality or something.

Kaveh stared at the old architecture. It looked beautiful. Even though flowers and vines covered the walls it was still nice suddenly Kaveh stepped on a booby Trap suddenly the doors locking. Kaveh was confused but as he feared tons of monsters appeared they quickly started taking them out Kaveh using all the dendro powers he could. It was very dangerous like the man said. Kaveh got grazed on the shoulder it bleeding. Kaveh was trying to keep his calm calling Mehrak to help.

Elsewhere in the desert.

Alhaitham was walking trying to find the area of suspicious activity Cyno mentioned of. Apparently in the desert there had been some weird stuff happening near a domain. But nothing to dangerous as Alhaitham walked he saw a camp set up confused Alhaitham walked towards it noticing a beautiful oasis there. While noticing a sketch book and picking it up. It was Kavehs. Alhaitham saw and noticed Kaveh had drawn dawn. It was beautiful. "Alhaitham?" Lumine asked staring at Alhaitham and Cyno who were searching the area. "where's Kaveh?" Alhaitham asked. Paimon turned around there was no sign of Kaveh except for the domain. "we don't know. Ah! Probably with the client!" Paimon bubbled up. "do you remember where he worked with the client?" asked Cyno ready to check if Kaveh was OK since the area was relates to suspicious activity. "sure!" Lumine answered as she led the way to the camp. There was no body. Alhaitham walked to investigate. There was a letter there.
It was addressed from...

Eremites. It talked about a domain. Alhaitham pieced it together. He quickly dashed to the domain.
He stopped no sign of anything. Just some Desert fox sitting at the front.

Except Alhaitham looked closely. The fox had a bandage. Only Kaveh would do such a thing to help an animal the fox was waiting outside. Alhaitham realized Kaveh was in there with an eremite. "does Kaveh know?" Alhaitham thought. The four of them Cyno, Alhaitham, Lumine and Paimon went in trying to find Kaveh.

Kaveh continued fighting till the enimies stopped gushing in. Kaveh was badly injured and was bleeding badly. He started smashing the boulders trying to crack open an exit which he did.

"STOP." Said a stern voice Kaveh recognized it. It was Cynos. Usually Cyno never spoke that loud so it made Kaveh wonder why Cyno spoke so loud. Kaveh saw Cyno, Alhaitham, Lumine and Paimon show up worried written all over the their faces, Kaveh didn't understand till he was suddenly pulled back and felt a blade next to his neck. Kaveh realized beside his client were eremites.

He was tricked.
