Chapter 9

Nightmare: Love at first fight.

Kaveh went to his bedroom "God why is Alhaitham hot." Kaveh whispered. Realizing what he just said Kaveh turned red "what the heck why'd i say that!!" Kaveh shouted in his whisper. He put his blanket over his head trying to falling asleep from his disruptive thoughts. Kaveh opened his eyes. "where am I? Ah. A dream right?" Kaveh got up from the grass and suddenly it was like the world was tilting he suddenly was on a tree then let go. "AHHHH!" Kaveh suddenly felt hands on his back "WOAH there buddy!" a familiar voice exclaimed. "d-dad?" Kaveh asked his eyes widening with pain and sadness. "here we go again wooooshhhh!" Kavehs father grinned throwing him into the air and catching him breaking his fall. This was a game him and his father used to play and Kaveh,  would try to grab onto the tree branch while getting thrown up. "well that's enough for now! You and your plump little cheeks buddy!" his father exclaimed. "plump?" Kaveh though him and his father walked around near a lake Kaveh looked at himself he looked younger again. Of course. This dream took place before Kaveh had ruined his perfect family. They walked around until they got to a hill Kaveh knew this place." hey bud, look!" suddenly it was no longer day but night the stars were beautiful. "I like to come here at least once a week to watch and make calculations on our fates that's how I found out about your mother!" the dirty blonde chuckled.

Kaveh stared at the stars and all it's radiance, he remembered all the nights he spent with his father examining the stars. If kaveh couldn't get into krshrawar he didn't mind being rtwawist. They continued looking at the beauty of the night. "it's getting a bit late buddy let's go!" Kaveh's father said he started walking down the hill Kaveh followed only to see his father stuck in sand. "c on Kaveh!" his father exclaimed "D-dad youre, youre!"

"sinking yea! But it's not my fault." His father said happly at first but darkly at the end.
"DAD GET OUT! HURRY PLEASE! I NEED YOU!"
"huh! So now you need me even after what YOU did?" His father chuckled insanely
"DAD PLEASE I JUST WANT OUR FAMILY BACK!!!" Kaveh screamed.

"Even after you killed me?" his father smiled darkly.
"I - I" Kaveh was speechless.

"of course you are!" Kaveh father laughed.

"you killed me."

"DAD NO I DI-" suddenly Kavehs hand was taken by force by his father "die here. Now." his father said into Kavehs ears. Kaveh opened his eyes only to see he was now in the sea drowning. As much as one fights on, no one can escape the depths. Kaveh kept trying to swim up the sea seemed endless suddenly only stars were there a sea of stars. Kaveh swam to one holding it in his hand "I wish dad... Would just be back." Kaveh whispered. He continued sinking in the bottomless abyss "DIE HERE." voices called out it was the abyss Kaveh quickly tried to swim up suddenly his blue feather fell out of his hair Kaveh swam. Back hoping to retrieve it. But then hands from the abyss started grabbing him Kaveh grabbed his accessory, holding the feather closely. "DAD!"

suddenly Kaveh jolted up his hair completely messed up from his nightmare. He looked at his hair clips on the side on his night stand. He realized he was out of breath since he was breathing heavily probably because he screamed or something, Kaveh took his feather in his hand looking at it sadly. He was sad and was already quietly crying.

"are you OK!?" alhaitham barged in on Kaveh crying. Kaveh stared at alhaitham with his wet eyes. Turning away quickly avoiding eye contact trying to hide the fact he was crying.

"Kaveh..." Alhaitham said softly.
"God damn it, I'm sorry!" shouted Kaveh out of fear. "did something happen..?" asked Alhaitham.

"no nothing!" Kaveh said.
"are you sure?" asked alhaitham
"yes. YES I AM." Kaveh said annoyed "archons, now just because I worry about you, you start getting angry." alhaitham said coldly "I'M SORRY OK I HAD A NIGHTMARE THAT'S IT. nothing more..." Kaveh turned around facing alhaitham crying. "just go." Kaveh said coldly.
Alhaitham was confused why was Kaveh so... Weird... Kaveh was usually kind and if he did get mad he would just be mad not... Sad. Alhaitham noticed Kaveh crying. Kaveh hair was a mess anyways. Who knows what happened in his nightmare.
Kaveh sat there feeling secluded. He couldn't tell alhaitham his stupid nightmare. But Kaveh felt happy that alhaitham worries for his wellbeing. Did Kaveh no, no way right? "I love alhaitham?"  Kaveh thought about it and turned red. "I love alhaitham..." Kaveh thought embarrassed.
