Chapter 38
Gael and Genesis decided to have lunch on the terrace that was located on the seaside of the hotel. Genesis got herself fruits and a shake, she wasn't hungry after that gigantic breakfast she got for Gael's birthday, but she was thirsty because of the weather.
"Did I tell you that you look amazing today?" Gael asks her, but it's more of a compliment than a question. Genesis blushes and she looks down. She was wearing a summer dress with her bikini under it, her bikini was black but the dress was a pink-ish shade of red. She was wearing her sandals under it.
She wore them on purpose because they're more comfortable than her slippers while exploring the hotel and the grounds of the hotel. "Thank you," Genesis answers, finishing her fruit, and then she starts drinking her shake. "I want to swim in the pool," she says, looking up at him before she takes another sip.
"You can find us beds and I'll get our things from the room," Gael says, "You can use your dress and your shoes to claim the second bed." Genesis nods, she already knew that tactic to claim two beds, but she's not going to be an asshole to him and tell him she already knew how to do that.
Both of them finish their food, Gael takes the key to the room and he goes upstairs to get the things they need. He sets up the safe in their room and puts his wallet and their phones inside, and obviously his new Rolex. After a few minutes, he walks back down with towels and sunscreen.
Genesis found them two beds with a sun umbrella in the middle, but the way the sun is positioned, they'll both be in the sun for now. Gael sits down on the bed she reserved for him, turning so she's looking at him. "Sit up," he demands and Genesis does as he says and she turns her back to him. Gael sprays some sunscreen on her back and then he starts massaging it into her skin.
"Lay down," he continues and Genesis lays on her stomach. Gael repositions himself so that he has better access to her legs. He starts massaging her legs, using both of his hands and he takes a little extra time to let his fingers roam her skin. "How do you feel about Italy?" He asks, starting a new conversation.
"Never been," Genesis answers, her voice is soft and she's enjoying his every touch. "I should take you," he says, "It's really pretty and there's so much to see." Genesis blushes and she nods. "I'd love that," she says, "But I also want to see more of Cabo." She's never admitted it to him, but she didn't actually pay a lot of attention to the place when they were in Cabo.
Gael smiles at her statement and he continues down to her calves then her feet. "I bet Matt and Charlotte would love to have you back there," he says, "Charlotte has been asking when we came back." Genesis smiles and she carefully turns her head back to look at Gael. "I love that little girl, I miss her," Genesis says, "We definitely have to come back there."
The memory of Charlotte is immediately making her miss her more. It was the first time she actually saw him be human and not the asshole he was before that. It was also the first time she voluntarily did something for him, which was to take care of Charlotte so Gael could find Mattias.
"I loved seeing you with Charlotte," he says, "That girl adored you." Genesis chuckles at the memory of that girl. "But damn she's stubborn," Genesis says and Gael chuckles, before finishing up with the sunscreen. "Do you want me to do your back?" Genesis asks, turning over to properly look at him. "Later," he says, "Thank you."
Genesis puts sunscreen on her front body as well and Gael stares at her hands, moving across her body, the sunscreen is leaving a beautiful glow on her skin. "Can you stop staring?" Genesis asks, snapping him back into reality. "No," Gael answers, "I thought you'd know that by now, Ness."
