Epilogue

"Want to stay over for lunch?" Gael asks. "I couldn't possibly," Marcus says, "I have lunch plans with my wife." Gael frowns, but the frown quickly transforms into a smile. "Take the afternoon off, Genesis is here with her car, she'll drive me to the office," Gael suggests. "Mr. Mayfield, you don't have to," Marcus says.

Since Genesis gave birth, which is already 3 years ago, Gael's become a true family man. He spends every minute off with Genesis and their baby girl. He still teases Genesis that she was wrong, she was convinced it was going to be a boy. She even tried convincing him to name their baby boy very specific names.

But Gael kept saying unisex names because he knew it was going to be a girl but he didn't want to piss off the already very moody-pregnant Genesis.

"I'll see you tomorrow," Gael says and he gets out. He walks to the door of his gym and pushes it open, immediately being greeted by the smell of sweat mixed with the plastic of the gloves and the soft mats on the floor to practice on.

"Daddy!" The sound of Dani's high-pitched voice combined with little footsteps running towards him. Gael grins when his girl is in sight and he bends down to pick her up, when she's within reach, he picks her up and pulls her over his head so she's sitting on his neck.

Her tiny fingers dig into his hair, making fists while grabbing onto his hair. She giggles while he walks to the back to join the others. Genesis opens up the pizza boxes and she grins, looking up at Gael. "Hey," she says.

Hannah has her son in her lap, who's sucking on his thumb while trying not to fall asleep. "They say boys are always more active," Hannah jokes, looking up at Gael. "I have the entire afternoon off," Gael says, sitting back down and he picks up the girl from his neck. She laughs and sits down on his legs.

Gael takes a slice of pizza and he takes a bite. Genesis takes a fork and a knife and she makes tiny bites for Daniela to eat as well. "How was work?" Sebastian's mouth is full of pizza as he asks the question.

"Busy," Gael answers, "But luckily nothing went wrong so I could be here with you guys."

James nods happily and he leans back. "How's business here going?" Gael asks. In the first months, there were so many people wanting to take lessons. They started to decline requests because of how large the groups were becoming. The boys still had their jobs, so obviously they couldn't spend the entire day training here.

But now there was a proper schedule going on and they always made sure to have lunch together. "Everything's going according to plan," Genesis says, "You have three cancellations for the 3 PM group, and one for the 5 PM group."

"It's Ethan again for 5 PM isn't it?" Gael asks. The boy's parents wanted him to play the sports but now whenever it's his training group, he gets sick or he cancels training because of the weather.

It's too hot, too cold, too windy, too rainy – Gael doesn't mind, it's the kid's parents' money, not his.

"Yep," Genesis answers, "Poor kid." Gael chuckles quietly. "He's been to one class and that's all," Gael says, "I think he's perfectly fine." Genesis chuckles. "I agree," she says.

They eat their pizza and then go back to work. Genesis and Hannah go back home, holding a playdate for the kids since 3-year-olds shouldn't be watching bigger kids and adults fight. Even if it's professionally.

"Can you believe our babies are three?" Hannah asks. She and Genesis got so much closer since they had babies, Natalie wasn't left out because she was the designated babysitter whenever one of the two couples wanted a night out.
