Chapter 23
"I just want to say, thank you all so much for everything that you've done for us," James is the one speaking, since he's the one who met the guys before, "I just wanted to say that I'm so blessed to have found Mattias who introduced me to this beautiful family, and I'm so glad to have watched this family grow."
Hannah was the first girlfriend in the group, so for her, this is a special place for her. Hannah smiles and she wraps her arm around James's waist, cuddling into his side. "And what's even more exciting is to watch every single man in this room fall in love, one by one," Hannah says and she looks around the place.
Gael's heart squeezes at her words, but he doesn't do anything. Genesis glances up at him, but when she sees Gael not reacting in the slightest, she turns back to Hannah and James. The dining room of James's yacht is enormous and has a beautiful view of the ocean.
They're still in the marina, Hannah and James planned to have dinner first to celebrate, then overnight the crew would arrive and the next day they'd leave right after breakfast. "Now let's enjoy dinner, and then we can all go our separate ways and claim rooms," Hannah says, smirking.
"I claimed mine, top floor, third door," Gael says, a small smile on his lips as he looks around, "That room belongs to me and Genesis." That second sentence sends shivers down Ginny's spine and when she feels his hand wrap around her thigh, she takes a deep breath, holding it for a second before releasing it.
Gael gently squeezes, noticing the reaction it brings out in her. The guys don't stop him from claiming that room, he was obviously first and they know Gael should have the room he wants if he's going to stay with his wife.
"We have garlic shrimp stir fry to start," Hannah explains, "Main course is salmon with lemon pepper sauce and some vegetables, and dessert is vanilla ice cream with a warm chocolate sauce." They're on a yacht, so obviously they're going to serve fish.
But Ginny's mind is already manifesting non-fish meals on the way to Bermuda.
"That sounds amazing," Natalia says and she leans back in her seat. Everyone already exchanged gifts the day before, these people are rich, so obviously they had to since it wasn't just something fun like a toaster or a microwave, they were gifted cars and planes, Gael went above and beyond to give them a house in Aspen to ski.
Mattias wasn't as rich as the others since he left the country, so he bought a property in Mexico and gave that to James as a project to work on. He described it as 'Cuatro paredes', which according to Gael means 'four walls'.
The house wasn't much, like he said, just four walls and it would still take a lot of work, but James was in love with it. He apparently loves construction. Gael was also thankful that the place was near his own in Cabo.
Genesis had no idea what Gael was planning on giving until she asked him to bring the gift and he just laughed and held up house keys. She thought it was way too crazy, but Gael's rich, so to him this was pocket money.
It's moments like these where she remembers how rich he really is, and sure she knows it whenever she looks at the mansion, at the cars, and the power she has when hosting events. But when he buys a house for someone's anniversary, and then doesn't seem bothered? It's a mixture of admiration and also being turned on.
Genesis learned that Natalia and Hannah don't speak Spanish, just like her. They advised her to also not learn it because the one thing the guys talk about in Spanish, is the women. They explained that she doesn't want to hear what they were talking about. Ginny just took their word for it, but curiosity still washed over her when she heard Gael and Mattias talk in Spanish.
