A/N: This is a fix-it for Ch 109, it has BSD MANGA 109 SPOILERS

The resounding gunshot took its sweet time in fading away.

The stage was set to a certain, perfect scene as its director watched upon with glee and triumph. Up in the control room, the little monitor displayed a scene gruesome to most. The pearl white walls of the prison, now stained a deep red hue acted as the perfect background to a moment so important to two people.

Fyodor Dostoevsky just smiled on, as he eventually switched off the monitor and the speakers. After all, his plan had worked. He won, it didn't matter how. It was his victory, and it didn't matter what said victory meant to him. He was on the top now. There was no one in this prison, and by extension, in this world, that could one-up him anymore.

There had been just one such person, after all. And that person had just been killed by his long time rival. A very fitting end to someone of his caliber, Fyodor must say. As much as he would like to stand there longer, and enjoy the scene that had played out perfectly, exactly right according to his directions; he had more important things to concern himself with.

The priority now would be to find Nikolai. It was him who started all of this in the first place. If Fyodor wanted to get out of this prison and back into the real world, where 'Kamui' was orchestrating the end of the world, he first needed the antidote to the poison that has actively been coursing through his bloodstream for all this time.

Walking away from the control set-up, he callously stepped over Sigma's pale, eerily still body on the floor to get away from the control room. As far as he was concerned, his job here was done. All his enemies were eradicated. And as for his pawns, he had no use of them any longer. It would be just fine if the gravity manipulator was to run rampant now. Fyodor was sure he had no use for him any longer.

Back in the room that was displayed on a monitor up till mere seconds ago, the faded gunshot left a grim scene in its wake. Against the cracked, stain walls, the infamous Demon Prodigy breathed his last. His shoulder bleeding, and with his eyes on the verge of lifelessness, Dazai uttered his last words,

"At long last. I've been looking forward to this."

He breathed his last with his rival looking down at him. All his dreams of being the one to kill his rival; dissipated with one mere bullet.

One minute passed, and then two. And then three more. The deadly silence in the room began to slowly dissipate. Between soft, labored breaths and careful glances, there was a chuckle.

"This isn't it after all, huh?"

The gravity manipulator stilled. His frozen eyes stared at his former partner, before he inched closer to check if he was actually not dead yet. That was all it took for the new plan to be set in motion. Dazai grabbed his rival's hand, yanking the petite mafioso towards himself.

Chuuya collapsed on top of him seconds later, the other's hands pressed to his face, and his hat roughly thrown off. It took him two whole seconds to come back to his senses.

"You-! Shitty Dazai! Why did it take you so long to nullify the stupid vampirification?! Do you know how hard it was to keep it at bay?!"

Dazai groaned aloud, "Ow, Slug! Stop shouting! Can't you see I'm already in so much pain?!"

It was at this point that the other backed off a bit, taking a good look at their situation.

Chuuya rolled his eyes, "Don't be so dramatic, shitty Dazai. Its just one bullet. We've both had worse."

The demon prodigy whined, "But Chuuya! My shoulder hurts so much! Why couldn't you just aim at something that wouldn't hurt as much? You klutz! Meanie!"
