I couldn't look at him, I couldn't bring myself to say anything.
All of it happened so suddenly.
I was met face to face with him.
He had smiled at me, I smiled back.
He seemed to be holding up well.
But, I couldn't do it.
I'm such an idiot.
I practically ran past him and kept walking. Not even looking back at him.
It looked like he was about to say something.
I was hesitant.
As I kept walking... Something was pulling me back.
Maybe the guilt... Maybe.. another feeling.
I had to.
I turned around to go after him... but..
He didn't even stop. He didn't look back.
He kept walking.
I clunched my fists in frustration.
I... wanted to talk to him.
I.... needed him...
He was my best friend.
He was my... everything.
But I think all hope is lost now.
Hey Darryl.. I may be crazy but... I want you to know, I'll forever have you on my mind, and in my heart.
I love you forever...
I'll love you for always.
Not that you could possibly feel the same way anymore.
