Vanessa millers who goes by ness for short grew up in a family of cops so she knew when she graduated that she had to do something in the policing industry cause she didn't want to be the one to break the tradition.
Vanessa was born and raised in the city of Chicago her life was great until her father passed away in the line of duty and her mother eventually went out of the picture and then she was left all alone until Hank Voight who was a close family friend helped her along the way
As soon as she came out of the academy she got a job offer in NYC with the FBI she of course was thrilled and so were her family but unfortunately she got involved in a case that and she got way to close with it and one thing led to another she couldn't sleep at night and she wasn't eating all she could think about what that one case and it was not healthy so she decided to pack her bags and move back home for a fresh start
