Injury

Vanessa's POV
*with all of our kids being older now they have found the love and passion for sports Kaiden loves playing hockey,Soccer and football ! And Lexi is doing so well in gymnastics and Dance class ! And Noah loves playing hockey and Soccer ! As much as I love my kids being in sports and watching them do something they are so very passionate about ! The only thing that makes me worried is them getting injured! And so far we have been very successful until today ! *
9:30 am
*it's currently 9:30 am on Saturday and it's a beautiful day outside ! At 10:30 Lexi has gymnastics and she is so so excited! As Lexi is up and ready to go I on the other hand is still in my pyjamas and my hair is a mess so I headed upstairs to get ready*

*i put this outfit on and I curled my hair and did some light makeup before heading downstairs and it's now 10:05*
Ness:alright Lexi ! We gotta go
Lexi:I'm ready mommy !
Ness:Is your gym bag all packed ?
Lexi:yup !
Ness:do you have water ?
Lexi:yes mom !
Ness:okay come on
*we got in the car and started the drive ! While I take Lexi to gymnastics Jay is back with the boys cause they have soccer at 11 so he takes them to soccer and we meet each-other at lunch time*
At gymnastics
*once we made it to the gym we headed inside and Lexi headed inside while I waited to sign her in*

Ness:good morning
?:good morning ! Who are you signing in ?
Ness:Lexi Halstead
?:10:30 class with miss jade ?
Ness:yup !
?:perfect head on in seems like she already knows her way
Ness:oh yes ! *smiles* thank you
*I head into the gym and I sit down on the bench as Lexi takes off her shorts so now she is just in her leotard and she beads on out with miss jade and the rest of her class and I sit down and I talk to one of the other parents there Mandi*
Mandi:good morning ! *she says as she sits next to me*
Ness:morning ! *smiles*
Mandi:beautiful day out isn't it ?
Ness:yes ! Great day at the soccer Field
Mandi:right ! They have a great day for it !
Ness:is Grayson playing today ?
Mandi:yeah he's at 12:30
Ness:ah Kaiden is at 11 and then Noah is on at 11:30
Mandi:field a and b
Ness:yea thankfully cause jay took both of them today
Mandi:yeah I seen Jess post saying that Her two were on field A and F
Ness:yeah that's a rough one
Mandi:right?!
*me and Mandi continued talking and then we heard a gut wrenching scream followed by crying I looked out and here was Lexi laying down on the floor*
Mandi:is that Lexi ?
Ness:yeah !
*I get up off the bench and head out to her*
Ness:what happened ?
Jade:she fell right back on her wrist while doing a front walkover
Ness:oh Lexi !
Lexi:mommy it hurts
Ness:can you move it ?
Lexi:*tries to move it but it doesn't move* no *says upset*
Ness:alright come on we gotta go to med
Lexi:no mommy !
Ness:baby we got to ! It might be broken
*I grab hey bags and we head out to the car and I call jay along the way to let him know we were going to med and he said he was going to meet us there whenever the boys were done*
At med
*once we arrived we headed inside*
Maggie:Vanessa? What brings you in ?
Ness:Lexi here had a little injury at gymnastics
Maggie:I see you can go to treatment room 2 and Natalie will be in shortly
Ness:thanks
*we go into the treatment room and Lexi gets up on the bed and then Natalie comes in*
Nat:hey guys ! I heard someone has a little injury ?
Lexi:I hurt my arm
Nat:your arm? Can I have a look sweetie
Lexi:*nods and puts out her arm*
Nat:can you move it ?
Lexi:no it hurts
Nat:okay let's get a quick x ray then to make sure nothings broke
*natalie gets out the x ray machine and takes one of her arm*
Nat:well miss Lexi it looks like you got a broken arm
Lexi:oh
Ness:how serious?
Nat:not to bad but looks like she will be in a cast for about 2-3 weeks
Ness:oh okay
Lexi:do I get to pick the colour of the cast ?
Natalie:you sure do ! Do you want pink,purple,green or blue ?
Lexi:pink !
Natalie:I kinda figured
*natalie goes to get the cast and we sit back and when she comes back she puts the cast on Lexi and she is loving the pink one*
Nat:there you go !
Lexi:thank you
Nat:your welcome ! Now stay off of that arm for a while okay ?
Lexi:okay
Ness:thank you Natalie
Nat:no problem
*we headed home and the boys were already there and when they saw her in the cast they all gave her a hug and made sure she was okay which was really sweet !*
Jay:are you okay Lexi?
Lexi:no dad ! My arm is broken and I can't do gymnastics or dance for 3weeks !
Jay:yeah but think of all the movies you can watch while at home !
Lexi:your not helping !
Jay:my bad
Ness:Lexi do you want to decorate your cast with woke gems ?
Lexi:yeah!
Ness:okay come over
*I decorated her cast and took a picture of it and posted it on insta*

Caption:today at gymnastics Lexi fell while doing a front walkover which ended up in her breaking her arm 😭 as she cried her eyes out when she found out she couldn't do dance or gymnastics for at least 3 weeks was enough to break your heart but when I brought out the gems to decorate her cast it brought a smile to her face ❤️ looks like there will be lots of mommy daughter dates these next 3 weeks !
