Vanessa's POV *well today was the day ! It was my fathers celebration of life , if you didn't know my dad was killed in the line of duty and it was a pretty traumatic one and that took a while to get over , he has his brain blew out and many officers never returned after that night cause they just couldn't and today it's been 10 years we were having a celebration of life at Mollys later on my sister was going to be there ! And I haven't seen her in ages Brittany was 3 years old than me and she lives all the way in California so I don't get to see her very often but today is the day ! So I got up at 9:30 and went for my morning run and I came back at 11 and I made myself some lunch and now it is 3:20 so I so should probably get ready since the celebration starts at 5 so I go get a shower and get changed*

*I put this outfit on from head to toe and I curled my hair and did some light makeup since I knew I was going to cry at some point tonight and then I made myself a sandwich since I knew I was going to be drinking and I didn't want to drink on a empty stomach and I left the house at 4:30 and arrived 4:55 and there were already people here* Jay:hey ! *comes up to me* Ness:hey ! The place looks amazing Jay:yeah it does ! *smiles* you ok Ness:for now ! But the memories will pop back in my mind in a little bit Jay:well If you need anything I'm here ok ? Ness:thanks ! *I go up to the bar and Stella is serving* Stella:hey Ness ! Ness:hi ! Can I get a beer please ? Stella:yeah of course ! *hands me a beer* Ness:thanks ! *I head over to the picture table and look at all the pics of my father and then the door opens and I see Brittany walk in* Ness:Britney ! *hugs her* Britt:hey ness ! *hugs back* Ness:it's been to long Britt:I know ! Ness:wanna beer ? Britt:uh of course ! *smiles* *we go up to the bar and Stella comes over again* Stella:oh who's this ? Ness:this is my sister Brittany ! And Brittany this is my friend Stella ! She's a firefighter Britt:nice to meet you ! *smiles* Stella:same ! But I should have knew you were sisters cause you look so much alike Britt:yeah we get that alot ! Ness:come on ! I wanna introduce you to everyone Britt:ok ok ! I'm coming *we head over to the PD side of the bar * Ness:hey everyone! Hank:omg ! Brittany ! *hugs her* Britt:hey Hank ! *looks at him* you haven't changed a bit Hank:guess not ! *laughs* Erin:*comes up from behind us* Omg Is that Brittany Millers that I see ? Britt:Erin !! Omg it's been so long how are you Erin:I'm good ! How are you Brittany:you know hanging in there Jay:is this your sister ? Ness:*gasps* how did you know ? Jay:you look identical Britt:that's the 2nd person to say that within the last like 3 mins *laughs* Ness:guys this is my sister Brittany and Brittany these are my co workers ! Jay Halstead , Kim burgess,Kevin Atwater and Adam ruzek Britt:nice to meet you all *smiles* Kim:nice to meet you to ! Hank:so Brittany ! What's up in your life ? He was a total Dick anyway Adam:what do you do for a living ? Britt:oh I own a small business in California Jay:California hey ? Britt:yeah I moved there 10 years ago after all this went down Hank:really ? I didn't know Britt:yeah ! I figured a clean start was what I needed Hank:and I don't blame you ! Ness:come on ! Is that the Brittany Millers Britt:*gasps* Kelly ? Omg Kelly:it's so nice to see you again Britt:yeah ! Same goes to you *smiles* Hermann:millers ? Sister or cousin? Ness:this is my sister Brittany Hermann:ahh I should have guessed Britt:*laughs* Joe:I'm Joe Joe Cruz Britt:nice to meet you ! *smiles* Sylvie:how do you know Kelly ? Oh and I'm Sylvie Brett Britt:well me and Kelly used to date for a little while back in high-school Gabby:oh really ? Britt:yeah ! We met at the Chicago BQ that fire,med and PD would host and things kinda went on from there Matt:I didn't know this information! Kelly:well now you know ! *looks at him* Britt:it's nice to see you again Kelly ! Kelly:same to you ! *they both smile and then I introduce Brittany to everyone else that's here and then Trudy gets up at the microphone and starts talking* Trudy:hey everyone! I just wanna come out here and say thank you to all of you who took time out of your night to come celebrate the life of our former officer Danny Millers ! So I wound like to ask his 2 daughters Brittany and Vanessa Millers to come up here and say a few words about there beloved Father *me and Britt walk up to the stand with the microphone and I loom around the room and Brittany stands up to the microphone* Britt:hi I'm Brittany ! And I'm sure most of you probably don't know who I am since I never stayed in Chicago music longer after this incident happened ! But I am Danny and Claire's First child so I was 18 at the time of my fathers death and all I can remember is when Hank came into the home and told us everything that happened that night and we all broke down into tears ! Our father was one to never mess with ! If we were to get in trouble at home ! He was the one our mom would send to punish us cause he was used to putting up with bull all day long ! But me being 18 years old decided the day after we were informed about his passing to move to California to start a fresh life and let me just say I regretted it the moment I left ! Cause I was leaving my 15 year old sister home with our broken mother who couldn't take care of herself but once I got the plane I knew I couldn't go back and that this was the beginning of something new ! I'm now going to let my sister speak because I'm very awkward when it comes to public speaking !
