Vanessa's POV *its been a few days since the one Chicago bbq and today was the Chicago Police department award ceremony that me,Erin,jay and sarge got invited to I am currently at work tho and we just finished a case* Hank:alright so as you all know the Chicago Police department award ceremony is tonight and me Erin,jay and Vanessa got selected to go to the awards but the rest of you need to be at the event at 8pm tonight sharp for the after celebration Kim:we will be there sarge ! Hank:alright now go home and get ready ! And for jay,ness and Erin be at the ceremony for 6pm Ness:that's in like In 2 hours Hank:exactly! So get home and get ready ! And don't forget to wear black ! Jay:we will sarge ! Don't worry *we left the district and as I was heading towards my car Erin and jay came over to me* Ness:hey ! Erin:so I was thinking what If we all ride together to the awards ? Ness:sure ! Who's car ? Jay:I can take the truck ? Erin:alright ! Jay:see you in like 55 mins Ness:bye ! *I got in my truck and drove home and got a quick shower and then got dressed for the event*

*I put this dress on and I curled my hair and grabbed my purse and I put on a pair of black high heels and I headed out to the kitchen where I got a glass of water cause I was thirsty and then I got a message from jay saying he was outside so I locked my door and headed downstairs to the lobby and I headed outside and I saw his truck so I hopped in the backseat* Erin:you look nice ! *smiles* Ness:thanks ! So do you ! *smiles* Jay:what about me ? *says in a sarcastic jokingly voice* Ness:you look incredible jay ! *says in a jokingly tone* Jay:why thank you ! *after the 5 min drive we pulled up to the award ceremony and we met sarge outside* Hank:you all look great ! Erin:so do you ! *smiles* Hank:shall we head inside ? Jay:yeah ! *we followed sarge inside and we found our table and we sat down* Ness:are there other people sitting with us ? Hank:yeah Jay:from where ? Hank:21st Erin:I thought you said it was only us coming ? Hank:yeah but I just found out Trudy is coming to with one of her patrol officers Ness:very good ! *we were sat at a circle table for 6 and the arrangement was Hank , jay , me ,Erin and then 2 empty seats for Trudy and her patrol officer and after 15 mins Trudy showed up with her officer* Trudy:hey everyone ! Hank:hey Trudy ! Trudy:this is my officer Katie Brenton and Katie these are intelligence Hank voight , jay Halstead , Vanessa Millers and Erin Lindsay Katie:nice to meet you all! *they sat down at the table and the waiters came around and gave us our food and now the awards were starting* CH= chief Harvey Ch: hello everyone and welcome to the annual Chicago Police department awards ceremony! We have a selection of awards to give out to officers in this room who were nominated and selected to certain awards now we shall get started im going to ask Sargent William decker to announce the awards for district 37 *everyone clapped and then he stood up on the stage* William:hello everyone! So this officer in particular has never once doubted my duties and this officer is detective Bruce Abrams *he clapped and then Chief went back up* Ch:now I'm going to ask Sargent Hank Voight of district 21 to come up *we all clapped and Hank went up on the stage* Hank:this award is going out to one of the most dedicated and determined cops I have ! Not only is this person a fantastic cop this person is also a great person to there partner ! And this person lights up the hole bullpen and this award goes to detective Vanessa miller ! Jay:congrats ! Ness:thank you ! *I stand up and people clap as I go up on the stage and I take the plaque from sarge and we get our picture took and then we head back and listen to all of the other awards from the distinct* Ch:now to end off our awards I would like to ask detective Vanessa Miller to come up and present the Danny Miller award *I stand up and once again go up to the stage* Ness:so as most of you know my father daddy Miller died 10 years ago in the line of duty and he was one determined cop and extremely stubborn if I'm going to be honest ! So I have 2 awards here ! The first one being the Danny miller Award and the 2nd one being the miller family award and I am so honoured to be giving these awards to 2 great cops that I get to call family ! So could I ask Detective Jay Halstead and Erin Lindsay to come up and accept these awards ! *jay and Erin come up and I hand them there awards and we head Back to our seats and we then make our way out to the after party where the others were* Kim:congratulations to all of you ! Ness:thanks ! Jay&Erin:thank you ! *we all went over do the drink station and grabbed a beer each and then we headed back over to Hank and we all talked for a while when a bunch of people approached us* ?:which one of you in detective Vanessa Millers Ness:that would be me , who hare you ? ?:come with me and I'll tell you Ness:sorry but are you police officers ? ?:yeah of course right guys ! The guys:yeah yeah ! Ness:ok *walks with them but not to far away*:what can I do for you ?:we are here for revenge ! Ness:revenge ? ?:yeah ! Your father killed our parents in a raid 13 years ago and we want revenge *pulls out a gun* *the men pull out guns and now everyone's eyes are on us* Hank:hey hey ! *pulls out his gun* drop the gun ?:I can't do that I'm sorry Hank:yes you can ! Just drop it ?:nope I'm here for revenge ! *hank stays where he's to and the man pulls the trigger and shoots me in the shoulder and then Hank shoots him and jay runs over to me* Jay:Vanessa !! Ness:I'm fine ! I'm ok Jay:we need to get you to med ! SOMEONE CALL AMBULANCE!!
