Lorenzo found out about Sewela's ritual in the woods and it drove him crazy, he went on the hunt for her and found her hiding in a cave. He managed to lure her out and brutally attacked her, he only stopped when Sewela offered to help him out with his plan. This time she gave him a solid plan that could work but Bambi will have to be the bait. They both talked about drugging Bambi at the work event she'll be attending, kidnapping her and forcing Landrick to give up his power. If Landrick wouldn't give in then they will kill Bambi and allow themselves to get killed because Landrick will never allow them to go free after challenging him and murdering his soulmate. Sewela knew that Landrick would try to kill her anyways after the ritual and Lorenzo didn't have enough time because the truth was going to come out.

Lorenzo and Sewela were officially a team unaware that Jude was setting a personal attack on Bambi too. She also wanted to follow Bambi to the event, drugging her and using her for a ritual to gain power. Jude had noticed the light that was activated inside Bambi and she wanted it as a ticket to the nice life. Jude was just tired of being overlooked by people especially Millicent, she felt that Millicent was absolutely nothing and her existence was just a waste of time.

Millicent was officially in hell, ever since her husband found her adding an unknown substance in the food she was getting beaten up everyday. Her marriage has turned abusive and things seem to be getting worse. She miscarried their child when her husband repeatedly kicked her stomach, her husband doesn't allow her to go outside because of the bruises all over her body. Millicent went to the extent of switching off her phone and making it impossible for anyone to get in the yard even Bambi got turned away after making an attempt to check her at the house.

Worshipers in Landrick's kingdom were decreasing slowly as people were committing suicide to gain freedom from their miserable lifestyles while others were joining other kingdoms. Having a weak king was a horrifying thing to experience in the spirit realms because everyone will be taken as easy pickings. No one was willing to come up and challenge for the throne since Lorenzo was in charge and he was as equally brutal as Landrick. Life in the kingdom wasn't easy because a single agent had to do triple the amount of sacrifices and recruits as usual since others were dieng or walking away.

The spirit that was torturing Landrick continued to grow stronger and stronger, it was one of the main reasons Landrick kept getting sick, he now has one demon left and his life is hanging by a thread. The spirit kept showing up in his dreams while he was in a coma putting him in a series of seizures, it was clear that this spirit was angry and had an agenda with him. He was moved to the ICU making it hard for Bambi to even visit him, Bambi was now starting to fall in love with him and she kept wishing that he would wake up so they can finally start talking about their new steps for a relationship.
