Minutes after the collision with the truck, Sewela woke up and pulled her very injured body out the car, her side of the car had no door, she was bleeding from her nose and had mutilple cuts on her body. Sewela was dizzy but forced herself to walk a few meters from the collision until she lost her balance and fell off the road into the river, she was saved by an unknown shaman who lived in that area, he swam in and got her before she could drown. No one knew that she was in the accident and no one even knows about her whereabouts.
The accident trended on the news and it was stated that the truck driver did survive the collision but he will never walk again.
The funeral was extremely painful, the whole community came to attend. A week later an update was giving about the three car survivors, it was all comforting news for two sectors of the community but one sector instantly went into a grieving mode, one of the survivors succumbed into their injuries and let go. Everyone found it hard to believe but attending the funeral made it a clear reality, Landrick was staring into nothingness struggling to hold back his tears. His father stood still next to him without saying a word. He was a cold man but he knew that his son needed the support. He was saying his final goodbyes to his soulmate, this wasn't a time to be a man whose strong and doesnt cry. He needed to be soft and let it all out. He'll never find another like Bambi.
Lorenzo woke up two days later in the hospital, he had mutiple stitches and a cask on his left hand. He was grateful to be alive and was even more grateful when he noticed that Landrick wasn't aware of his plans, he knew he was too caught up with Bambi. Two weeks later he became the new king and sat on his throne. He managed to dethrone Landrick after the death of Bambi was announced. Landrick got so heartbroken and weak, his demon died and had no power, that was enough to get the upper hand on him.
Jude was healing slowly, she got transferred to a hospital in Cape Town for multiple surgeries including a head surgery. Her mom went to Cape Town to be with her, the status of her health was unknown if she ever survives. The doctors are worried she might not be the same or she might have permanent memory loss.
Landrick lost everything in the spiritual realm, he was just a real human with nothing to offer, he got very sick. He didn't even bother to fight Lorenzo for the throne, he found out about Millicent being abused but did nothing about it. He still wasn't aware that Sewela performed a ritual to break the spiritual tie and he wasn't aware that she went missing. Jude was the least of his worries. He sank into depression and started drinking a lot trying to forget everything but he never forgot Bambi.
