With My Spirit - Chapter 27

Landrick

Landrick had woken up from his coma hours ago, he wasn't saying much or responding to what the doctors kept telling him. All he wanted was Bambi, he was aware of her visits and everything she said, he could hear what she kept talking about and he was aware that Bambi admitted to being in love with him, all he wanted was to get discharged so he can reunite with her and they can start a new life.

Nurse Theresa ran in Landrick's room with tears in her eyes which sparked a concern for Landrick.

Nurse Theresa: Bambi, Jude and Lorenzo got in a car accident, they're at the national road.

After hearing the news Landrick demanded to get discharged but the doctors refused, nurse Theresa had to sneak him out so he can go to the scene, she was only helping him since she knows how much Landrick really loves Bambi.

Landrick had to request an uber that will take him to the scene, when he got there he couldn't hold back the tears and his chest started hurting. He was already pale and weak, now this situation was making him even worse that his last demon was too weak to dominate him.

In front of his eyes where police lights and the police trying to keep spectators away by keeping them locked up in their cars, he got closer but someone tried to stop him from crossing the police line, he lied by telling the police officers around him that his fiancee is the one involved in the accident, they granted him access and he went in.
He slowly walked in and asked the nearest police officer about the scene, they told him it was a head on collision with a truck and they suspect that one of the drivers was driving under the influence. Landrick slowly walked closer and saw Lorenzo's body laying there almost lifeless, he took three steps closer and saw Jude with half her body outside the car and the other half inside with a seat belt attached to her, the seat belt created the grasp that saved her from completely flying out the car. He then realized that one more person was missing. Landrick walked passed the two wrecked cars and truck taking further steps until he came across Bambi, she was laying face down with a pool of vomit near her face, the police officer stopped Landrick from touching her making him understand that all of them are still alive but in critical state, he also explained that Bambi got turned face down because the vomit was choking her.

Landrick was taken by so many emotions he collapsed right next to Bambi seconds before the paramedics could get to them.
