Sewela

Sewela was scared for her life while she was listening to the groans of pain coming from her boyfriend. Lorenzo has been getting more power and confidence to dethrone Landrick. She was well aware of the his moves.

Sewela was at her boyfriend's house, they were having their usual couple's quality time when they saw a human figure going to the door, her boyfriend Jackson noticed it but the ultimate shock came when this person outside started kicking the door aggressively.
Jackson and Sewela jumped in fear, a intruder was trying to break in and you can tell by the banging of the door that he was determined to get inside. Jackson quickly got up pulled Sewela on her feet, his thought was to keep Sewela safe so he came with a quick plan, dragging her girlfriend to the spare room of the house, there was a step ladder at the corner of the room and the ceiling had a trap door. Jackson grabbed the ladder and positioned it in the middle of the room, Sewela already knew what he was thinking, both of them were sweating and breathing in fear while the door was starting to break piece by piece because of this threat outside.
Jackson commanded her to climb the ladder, open the trap door and get inside, he also told her to pull the ladder up inside so the intruder doesn't notice where one of them is hiding. He had reassured her that he will handle the intruder and all will be well, obviously Jackson was strong but he had no idea that the intruder was equally as strong.

As soon as she was inside the trap door, right inside the ceiling, Sewela used all her strength to pull up the ladder and closing the door. While she was inside the dark ceiling, she pulled up a shirt to cover her nose so the dust inside doesn't cause her to cough, she started moving deeper inside the ceiling to create a distance from the door while trying to listen to everything that was happening. The loud banging and cracking noise was enough for her to confirm that the door had been destroyed and the intruder got it. She could hear that Jackson had jumped the intruder, the sound of glass breaking and two men groaning was obvious that a fist fight was happening, she heard the intruder say "I'm going to kill you", that's when she could tell that it was Lorenzo and he wasn't breaking in Jackson's house to steal but he was here to find Sewela, this brought an extreme pain to her knowing that her boyfriend is suffering for something he knows nothing about. There was a glass breaking and a loud thud to the floor following by groans of pains, Jackson was down and maybe weak. Sewela covered her mouth while she was crying, she didn't want to make a sound since she knew that Lorenzo had sharp ears and then she heard him shouting while walking around the house, throwing things and flipping anything he can get his hands on.

Lorenzo: Sewela! Sewela! Get out here, it didn't have to come to this Sewela, come look at Jackson and see how injured he his because of you. This is all your fault. Your damn man is going to die because of you, unless you save him and come out now Sewela. Come and give me the truth. Sewela!

Sewela kept quiet while listening to Lorenzo trash the house, she knew that Jackson heard him but she has no idea what Jackson would think about this situation. Sewela could tell that Lorenzo was right below her because his voice was extremely loud and clear but she wouldn't come down. When it came to choosing her life over anything, Sewela never hesitated to choose her life even if it meant innocent souls would die, Jackson wouldn't be the first innocent person to lose their life.

She was quite and still as possible while listening to Lorenzo going crazy until she heard a gun shot, she muffled her cries then heard him saying " your man is dead bitch". There was a distant sound of sirens indicating that the authorities where on their way, Lorenzo fled the crime leaving Sewela still in hiding until she could get a confirmation that all is safe.

The authorities were searching the house for any victims or suspects when they heard shuffling in the roof, they moved with caution following the sound until they saw the trap door open and heard a soft voice asking them not to shoot, the ladder came and they helped her climb down so they can get a full story on what happened. She was the only witness who can at least give them evidence of what happened.

Sewela was giving her statement to the police about the scene that took place, when they asked her to explain how the intruder/murderer looked like she claimed she didn't see him, she gave them false information about the intruders voice saying it was a rough and deep voice that she heard. Her boyfriend was declared dead, she knew she couldn't tell the truth because Lorenzo is the only one capable of disposing Landrick. All she needed to do was survive, that's something she has been doing for years, today wasn't her last day of survival.
