"Did I just see you kissing Dallas Winston on the dance floor?" Liv asked, pulling me into the corner. "Maybe," I said. "He wants to teach me what its like to be poor, said he has something way out of my comfort zone next,"

"More than partying and drinking beer?" She asked. I shrugged and laughed. "I'll see you later, call me tonight okay?" I said. "Yes ma'am, go have fun!" She said. "You too!" I said.

Dally walked back over to me. "Let's get out of here," He said. "Okay just let me pay for the beer," I said. "Nah, let's go," He said, grabbing my hand. "Without paying?" I asked. "You can't pay if you don't have any money," He said. He pulled me through the crowd and out the door. We ran to the car and he started to drive as we got in. "You're insane," I said, laughing.

"Welcome to the greaser life," He said. "Where are we going now?" I asked. "I'm taking you home," He said. "Oh, already?" I asked.

"Well, I figured you'd done enough rule breaking for the night," He said. "I didn't hate it," I said. "But I can't get used to it either," I added. "You could," He said. We got to my house and he came in with me. We went to my room and closed the door. "What're you planning on doing here?" I asked. "I dunno man, whatever," He said. He walked over to me and and started to push his jacket off of me. "W-what're you doing?" I asked.

"Taking my jacket back," He said. "No," I said and walked away with it on. "What? It's mine," He said. "Was yours," I said.

"Fine," He said. I sat down on my bed and he sat down next to me. He grabbed my chin and leaned in.

It felt like I was dreaming. There was no way we were actually kissing right now, right? I mean, we barely know each other. But we were. And it was the second time now. Not only were we kissing, but it didn't feel as wrong as I thought it would. I mean, we're complete opposites. He could potentially ruin my chances at getting into a good college, ruin my relationship with my family, basically ruin my life.

But something inside me didn't even care, in that moment, it felt right.

"My brother could get home at any second," I said. "So?" He asked. "He can't see you," I said. "You want me to go?" He asked. "No," I said. A smirk appeared on his face. "Actually, yes," I said. He rolled his eyes. "Besides, as fun as this all was, I can't do it again, I have a future to focus on,"

"And what, hookin' up with a greaser gets in the way of that?" He asked. "No," I said. "But I won't just be a hook up to you either,"

"Who said you were?" He asked. "Am I not?" I asked. "Why do we gotta out a label on it?" He asked. "Just have a little fun man," He said. "We don't," I said. "Just don't wanna get into this if you're planning to fuck me and bounce,"

"Well I ain't," He said. "Okay," I said. "I'm sorry," I sighed. "Why?" He asked. "I ruined a fun night," I said.

"Doesn't need to be ruined," He said. "If we're gonna do this I need you to promise me something," I said. "I don't do promises," He said. "Then I need you to try your best on something," I said. "What?" He asked. "People can't know," I said. "Yeah okay whatever," He said.

I held out my pinky. "If I'm doin' this then you can't tell a soul," He said. "Deal," I said. He held his pinky out and we wrapped them together.

I smiled at him and he rolled his eyes and looked away, but there was a smile on his face too. "So am I staying or goin?" He asked, standing up. I stood up. "You choose," I shrugged. "You might get shoved in a closet but you can stay," I said. He laughed. "I'll stay," He said.

I got on my tippy toes and kissed him. The smirk returned to his face as he placed a hand on my cheek and pulled me back in.

He pulled me close to his body, running has hands up and down my body. We walked backwards and tumbled onto the bed. "Kenzie you home?"

"Shit," I whispered. We both stood up and I shoved him into the closet. "What?" I asked, opening my door slightly. "Why are you dressed like that?" He asked. "I'm just going through my clothes, seeing what fits," I said. "Alright, I was jusy getting some clothes I'm sleeping at Randy's," He said. "Okay," I said.

He looked into my room. "Who's leather jacket is that?" He asked. "Oh it's an old one," I said. "Of dads,"

"Right," He said. "Make sure to lock up the house," He said. "I will," I said. He left and I waited until I heard the front door close before I let Dally out. "He gone?" He asked. "Yeah," I said. "You better not double cross me, I have black mail on you now," He said, walking back over and laying on my bed. "How so?" I asked.

"Well first of all, I've made out with you, I could tell people, second of all I was just in your closet for a while, I've seen things," He said. I rolled my eyes.

I grabbed his hand and dragged him to my front door. "Goodbye Dallas," I said. "So Harvard huh?" He asked. "Yeah, that's the goal," I said. "What's the plan if Harvard doesn't work?" He asked. "What's your plan when you're not young and beautiful and can't flirt with everyone anymore?" I asked.

He leaned in and kissed me. "See ya later," He winked and walked out. I closed the door and leaned against it. I smiled to myself before locking the door and going back upstairs.
