Mackenzie

"You are whipped," Sodapop said.

"I am not," I said. "Besides, I know who I'm dating," I said, handing him the box of Snickers he was restocking. "He's just as whipped as you are Kenzie," He said.

"Is he?" I asked. "Yes, nobody else even knows you're dating and they know he's whipped," He said. "Steve asked me the other day if something was going on, I said I didn't know and to ask y'all,"

"Dally thinks the sneaking around is fun," I replied. "Do you?" He asked. "Yeah, but sometimes I wish I could show him off, but if it got anywhere outside you guys and Liv, my life would be over," I said.

"Why is that? You hangout with us everywhere," He said. "It's nothing that I agree with, it's just that my family finding out would ruin my life, I'd never be allowed out of the house again," I said.

"So your parents are against it too? Not just Bob?" He asked. I nodded. "Bob learned it from them,"

"Well, you turned out great considering," He said. "Stop flirting with my girl eh Sodapop?" Dally asked, walking into the gas station. "Never," Soda joked. Dally put an arm around my shoulder and kissed me. "People can walk in Dal," I said. He rolled his eyes. "Maybe we should tell the guys like you said," He said.

"Why is that?" I asked. "So I can show them you're mine," He said. "Not that I don't love you guys together, but please, take it outside," Soda said.

I laughed and handed Soda the rest of the snickers box I was holding. "See you tonight Soda," I said, pulling Dally outside. "Shit," I said and hid behind him. My brothers car was driving passed. "Is he gone?" I asked. "Who?" He asked. "My brother, his car was driving passed, blue," I said. "Yeah he's gone," He said.

I looked over his shoulder and sighed. "Are you that ashamed of me doll?" He asked, smirking down at me. "Of course not," I frowned.

"I just want to be able to stay with you," I said, putting my arms around his neck. He kissed me once more before grabbing my hand and getting into my car. "You're driving?" I asked. "Yep," He said. I handed him the keys and walked around to the passenger seat.

"If you really want to tell the guys we can, and Liv," I said. "I want them to know you're taken," He said.

"Jealousy is a disease," I joked. "I ain't jealous man," He said. "I did want to knock Two-Bits teeth out when he kissed you though," He added, shifting in the seat. I laughed and shook my head. "It's not always a bad thing, it means you care," I said.

"Yeah yeah," He said.

I looked over at him, his hand gripped tightly around the steering wheel. His messy brown hair falling perfectly on his forehead. His high cheek bones, perfectly soft skin, his perfect kissable lips.

God, I could stare at him forever.

"What?" He asked. "Nothing," I said and looked out the window, breaking my longing gaze towards his beauty.

We pulled into the bar and I followed him to his room. He closed the door before laying down on his bed. "Come over here man," He said.  He rested his head on one arm and held the other open for my to lay down. I did as he wanted and snuggled up closely to him.

"I heard the socs might call a rumble," He said. "It's not like it ever solves anything, I don't get why they do that," I said.

"They're sick of picking strictly on the weak greasers so they have a chance to fight someone their own size," He said. "I hate rumbles," I said. "You don't gotta worry about it," He said. I sat up and moved into a crisscross position, facing him.

"What if you get hurt? Or one of the guys, or hell even my brother?" I asked. "Me of all people will not get hurt doll," He said.

"You could, what if they decide to use weapons?" I asked. "Then I'll use weapons," He said. "Dallas," I sighed. "Mackenzie," He replied. "I ain't gonna get hurt man, I swear,"

"If you do get hurt, I get the automatic told you so rights," I replied. "Alright fine," He said, holding out his hand. I grabbed it and shook on it. "Wanna go over to Curtis's, tell them about us?" I asked. "Sure," He said. "But first,"

He grabbed my waist and pulled me on top of him, kissing me roughly. He ran his hand up my thigh, moving it around the entire thing.

He kissed down my neck, then moved back to my lips as he continued to tease me, moving towards my inner thigh, then moving away repeatedly. "Alright let's go," He said. "I hate you," I said as he pushed me off of him and walked towards the door.

"No you don't," He said. I hopped off his bed and followed him down the stairs, sending him a harsh glare.

The smirk never left his lips.

Once we had driven to the Curtis house, I decided the easiest way to start telling them was to walk in holding hands. Dally opened the door, and luckily everybody was around. "Hey guys," I said. "Hey look who it is," Sodapop said.

"What's goin' on?" Darry asked, raising an eyebrow at our hands. "Dally and I thought we should probably let y'all know," I said.

"She's off limits," Dally said. "Y'all are dating?" Liv asked. I nodded. "What?! I'm so happy for you Kenz," She said. Most people went around the room saying something along those lines. Except for Sodapop. "Ha! I knew first," He announced.

"More like figured it out first," I laughed. "Man I love the honeymoon phase of relationships," Steve said. I giggled as Dally and I sat down on the couch. "And just so y'all know, this doesn't leave the room, people can't be findin' out otherwise I met get sent away," I said.

"Good deal," Two-Bit said. "I swear," Ponyboy said. Everybody else agreed. "Just so you know, any of you ever dare her to kiss Keith again and I'll skin ya," Dally said. "Damn," Two-Bit said. Dally stood up and Two-Bit took off running to the bathroom. I laughed as Dally sat back down, seeing Two-Bits head peek out to look for safety.
