"She hates me," I said. "She doesn't hate you," Soda said. "Does too," I said. "I will call her and prove she doesn't hate you," Johnny said. "I don't even know why I said that I was just annoyed," I said. "I know she was right I shoulda just said it,"

"Then go tell her that now you dipshit," Steve said. "She's at Liv's just go over there," Johnny said. "I'll go with you if you want,"

"Get her flowers," Soda said. "What kind?" I asked. "Roses are always a safe option," Darry said. "Alright, Johnny let's go, I need to make up with her before her birthday," I said. "Okay," Johnny said. We walked over to the flower shop and I looked around. There was a bouquet of white roses and one of red.

"Which one should I get?" I asked. "White," Johnny said. I paid for the white bouquet and we walked to Liv's house. I knocked on the front door and Liv opened it.

She sighed. "I was told not to let you in, but the fact that you have flowers in hand changes my mind," She said. "Can you show me where she is?" I asked. She nodded and started to walk into her house. I followed her through the hall and into a room where Kenzie was sitting on the bed. "Flowers huh?" She asked.

"Yeah," I said, handing them to her. She grabbed them and held them to her nose. "I like Sunflowers more," She said. "But thank you,"

Liv laughed at her comment and left the room. I sat down next to her and she set the flowers by her side. "I'm really sorry Kenz," I said. "Why? You just didn't wanna fight over something stupid," She said. "I didn't wanna fight with you but only because I suck at admitting when I'm wrong," I said. "I'm sorry I'm such a jackass I'm not good at all this mushy cute stuff like you are,"

She smiled slightly. "What?" I asked. "I just think it's funny when you give yourself shit," She said. "Yeah well I'm a dick head, alright?" I said. She smiled again.

"I'm really sorry doll," I said. "I overreacted," She said. "I was just annoyed that you acted like it was fine then went behind my back," She said. "I know, I get it, I'm sorry," I said. "It's okay," She replied. "But if you do it again I'll dump your ass,"

"Noted," I said and pulled her into a kiss.

We walked out into the living room and Johnny and Liv were making out. "Get a room," I said. "Get the hell out of my house," Liv said. I shrugged and waited for Kenzie to grab her things before going back to Bucks. "Why'd you walk?" She asked. "Buck was pissed at me, wouldn't give me his keys," I said.

"Good," She smiled. "Hey Dal," She said. "Hey Kenz," I said. "I like the flowers," She said. "You wouldn't have preferred sunflowers?" I asked. "No I would, but the white roses are a second favorite," She said.

I rolled my eyes and helped carry her bag upstairs.

I sat on the bed and pulled her on top of me. "You're beautiful Kenz," I said. Her cheeks turned pink and I smirked at the affect I had on her. I kissed her neck and she pulled herself closer to me. "It's your birthday tomorrow," I said.

Mackenzie

"You better have stuck to your word," I said. He kissed my neck again and I shivered. "Dal," I said. "Kenz," He replied. "Can you just, hold me instead?" I asked. He nodded and laid down on the bed. I cuddled into his chest and he pulled me as close as I could be.

He scratched my back and kissed the top of my head. "I'm glad you forgave me doll," He said. I smiled and nodded in agreement.

"Me too," I said.

"You tired?" He asked. "Very," I said. "Go to sleep," He said. "You sure?" I asked. "Yeah, go to sleep I ain't goin' anywhere," He said.

With that, I obliged and closed my eyes, falling deeper into the comfort of his arms wrapped around me.

She fell asleep quickly and the door swung open. Sodapop walked in and I shushed him quickly. "Shh, she's asleep," I whispered. Sodapop smirked and nodded before backing up slowly. "Make sure she's here tomorrow morning for the breakfast surprise," He whispered.

I gave him a thumbs up as he walked out. I looked down at the sleeping girl in my arms and kissed her head before falling asleep with her.
