"So first we need to find an apartment that we can move into," Liv said. "Then we can get interviews ready," I said. "Perfect," She said.

"I found a few that we could go visit next month, when I called the land lord said they didn't have a date we had to decide by so we have lots of time," I said. "Lots of time for what?" Dally asked, walking into Bucks. "Apartments in Boston," I said. "What?" He asked.

"For when Liv and I head to school," I said. "And Johnny," Liv said. "Johnnys movin' to Boston with you?" He asked. "Well, he and Liv have talked about it, he thought about maybe finishing his senior year there so he could be with Liv," I said. "There's no final decision,"

"Johnny ain't movin' to Boston," He said. "Since when are you just gonna up and move to Boston?" He asked.

I turned in my chair to face him. "Well, I mean,
you know that's always been the plan, right? Harvard," I said. He just sighed and walked away. I looked at Liv. "I should go talk to him," I said. She nodded and I chased Dally out the front door. "Dal!" I said and he turned around. "Yeah?" He said. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yep," He said. "Why're you leaving?" I asked.

"Just don't really wanna help you plan how you're gonna leave me," He shrugged, shoving his hands into his pockets.

"Dal," I smiled and grabbed his hands. "I am not leaving you," I said. "So we're just gonna do long distance?" He asked. "I don't know yet," I said. "But we'll make it work, right?"

"You're tryna take Johnny away from me when you're already leaving Kenz," He said. "I'm not going anywhere," I said. "We will make it work, I know we will, besides we have time," I added. "I don't have money Kenz, I can't pay to get to you and you can't pay to get to me, how are you even gonna pay for Harvard? You got cut off," He said.

"I-I don't know yet Dal, but either way I'm going to Boston with Liv, it's been the plan since we were kids," I said.

"Do I play a part in your decision?" He asked. "Of course you do," I said. "I love you Dal, and I want to make this work," I added. "I do too," He said. "Just come inside and we can talk about it," I said. "I'll come back later I swear, I just gotta go help Darrel first," He said. "Okay," I said. I kissed his cheek and went back inside.

"So, how'd it go?" Liv asked. "I don't know," I said. "I have to figure out how to buy an apartment, pay for school, and move from here to Boston," I said.

"You know my parents will help you," She said. "Liv I can't ask your parents for money," I said. "We'll figure something out like we always do," She said. "What about Dal? He'll kill us if we take Johnny to Boston," I said. "Why don't you ask him to come with us?" She asked. "I didn't think he would want to," I said. "You never know," She said. "It's worth a shot,"

"You're right," I said. "I'll talk to you later," I said, kissing her head.

"Where are we goin?" Dally asked. "Dinner, I told you that already," I giggled. "How do you have the money to take us to a nice restaurant ?" He asked.

"Don't question me," I replied. We walked into the restaurant and waited to be seated. "Oh,"

Dally and I turned around and my parents were standing there. "Mom, Dad," I said. "Mackenzie," My mom said. "Who's this?" She asked. "This is Dallas, my boyfriend, Dal, these are my parents," I said. "Hey I'm Jeremy, nice to meet you," My dad held out his hand. To my surprise, Dally shook it. "Is Bob here?" I asked. "No," Mom said.

"Well, have a nice dinner," I said. "Kenzie wait," My dad said. "Yes?" I asked. "Tomorrow night, you two should come over for dinner around 6," He said.

I looked at Dally. He shrugged. "Okay, yeah, maybe," I said. He smiled. "Have a nice dinner you two," He told us. "Thanks," I said. "Mackenzie,"

Our name was called and they took us to our table. "So, those were your parents?" He asked. "Yeah," I said. "Your pops seems nice," He shrugged. "He is," I said. "Anyway, I don't want to talk about them," I said. "Okay," He said.

Throughout the dinner I glanced over at my parents table and my mother would quickly look away. My dad flashed a few smiles at us throughout the night. "So, I was thinking," I said. "About?" He asked. "Boston," I replied. "What about it?" He asked.

"Come with me,"

"What?" He asked. "I want you to come to Boston with me," I said. "And if you don't want to I understand, the guys are here, but Johnny is planning on coming with us, and I'll be there, I'll have a job, you can do whatever you want to do, and we can be together,"

"I wanna go with you," He said. "But I gotta think about it first before I decided,"

"Okay," I said. "I'm sorry I didn't ask sooner,  I didn't think it would even be an option in your mind, but I thought about it and living without you is the last thing I want to do," I said. "Me too," He said. "Just think about it and let me know okay?" I said. He nodded and leaned over the table to kiss me. "You two are all good to go, that man over there paid for your dinner," The waitress told us, pointing at my dad. I smiled over at him and thanked her.

Dally grabbed my hand and kissed my head before we went to the car.
