Unexpected

Chapter 2.

Wukong woke up with a mild headache. He looked around. There was no one in it. He tried to remember what had happened. Everything was hazy, not clear. He tried to get up but felt a huge pain in his stomach. he stuttered. Suddenly, a dark-haired monkey appeared from the shadows. He had a tray with various fruits and a cup of some kind of drink in his hand. He smiled. Wukong was a bit dazed.
"Hey. You're awake." He said with a smile. He moved closer to the bed. He sat on the edge of the bed.
"What happened?" Wukong said very quietly.
"My father questioned you a bit. You passed out."
"I don't remember this..."
"The doctor said the fall damaged your brain, so you're having memory problems now."
Wukong looked at him. "You say it so calmly..."
"What am I supposed to yell at you?" He raised an eyebrow. Silence fell. "I brought you something to eat. I didn't know what you liked, so I brought everything. And tea. The doctor said it would help with the headache."
Wukong teoche got up. Liuer handed him a cup of tea.
"Thanks.." He drank some and set his cup aside. "Why are you nice to me?"
This question asked Liuer. "And why not?"
"Answer me.."
Luer looked away. Wukong continued to stare at him. Liuer sighed.
"Because you're the only amazing thing that's happened to me in this boring life..." they both blushed.
Why did I say that… thought Liuer. Wukong was silent for a moment.
"So you can say I'm a gift from heaven to you huh?" He joked. Luer laughed. "You have a beautiful laugh..." Liuer blushed.
And so began their friendship, or maybe something more?
