"Are you ready?" Guanyin asked. Wukong nodded. Was he ready? After all, he will only regain his memories. Is it better to live with consciousness or not? Will he remember all the things, or was his entire previous life a failure?
Wukong lay on a bed of flowers. Guanyin stretched her hand out in front of her. A golden symbol appeared over Wukong. Wukong closed his eyes.
.
Appeared in front of you? In front of the mirror, the same one, broken, with golden cracks. The reflection looked at him with a pissed off expression, the kind that said "I told you so?"
The reflection raised an eyebrow, smiling slightly, baring its fangs. His arms were at his sides.
"I told you and you didn't listen." it said. Wukong felt embarrassed and looked down. The reflection sighed and placed a hand on its face.
"I won't let you take control anymore. No way." looked hostile at each other. It sighed. "So you learned something?"
Wukong looked in the mirror. "uh..."
"Oh yeah... you don't know what we did yet. Anyway, we'll have to clean it up somehow."
"What now?" Wukong asked.
The reflection placed its hand on the surface. Wukong did the same.
"Now we will finally become one." he smiled. The mirror itself shattered. Creating a small burst of golden energy, illuminating the room which turned white and the darkness was banished to the recesses of the mind where it belonged. In front of him, Wukong had his own copy, a golden copy that entered him unexpectedly. And there was light. Suddenly, Wukong began to remember his entire history. Brotherhood. Friendship. Failure. Oh no. What he did.
.
Wukong quickly sat up. He was panting. It was like a nightmare of his own making. He clutched his chest. Trail. What he did.
"Sunny? Are you okay?" asked Guanyin, who sat down next to him.
"Yes? No? I don't know?"
The goddess sighed. "Have you remembered who you are?"
Wukong chuckled violently with nerves. The goddess's downcast gaze was killing him.
"Yes, I know who... I am... I was..." he replied quietly. It wasn't like he was tormented by remorse, because everyone can make mistakes, right? Anyone could fight the Emperor, create chaos in the heavens, seek immortality, only to be left alone without anyone, or be ambushed by a shadow demon that hates them. Everyone probably does. You're probably not satisfied,"
Wukong sighed. "Not because of my own actions. I did so many stupid things."
"It is no longer important, what matters is how you use what is happening now. The present time is the most important, because that is the only thing you can influence. The future is uncertain, you cannot change the past, what counts is what you do now."
"You're right..."
.
Guanyin made calming tea. She handed the cup to Wukong. The golden-haired monkey drank some.
Unexpectedly, the pilgrims appeared with sisite. Ao lie ran to Wukong and hugged him. "Sunny, you're fine now."
"yeah...almost..." Wukong replied. Ao lie moved away, Wukong straightened up, Guanyin watched the whole scene.
"What does it mean?" Tripitaka asked.
"Well... it turns out that... I'm pregnant."
"What?!"
"with whom?"
Wukong raised an eyebrow, the only being that came to mind was Liuer, that was the one and only time. "My husband."
And now something else comes to his mind: should he tell them who he is? Or is it better to be presumed dead?
"There's something you're not telling us yet." the pig noticed.
"Well... well... I got my memories back."
"It's rather good?" said Ao lie.
"Not really."
"And what do you remember about a pathetic scene? Everyone has one." said the pig. Tripitaka glared at him.
"Maybe, anyway, I don't have a glorious past. My name is Sun Wukong. Monkey King."
"What?!"
Even Guanyin didn't expect this turn of events.
"It's not possible, he died a long time ago."
"It's because I was trapped and manipulated in this kingdom that things got complicated." Wukong said. Wukong looked at Guanyin.
Of course, everyone was shocked. Because first of all, Sun Wukong was supposed to be a chaotic, uncouth monkey who spread terror everywhere, and in front of them sat a monkey who was not only mentally, but also physically exhausted. It doesn't look like the one in the story at all. Especially in terms of behavior. What now?" Sandy asked.
"Well, I admit that I am as surprised as you are, but... (sigh) the past stays in the past. I have no influence on it anymore. And from what I see, you have already suffered for your sins. But I cannot be held responsible for the emperor. Although I think you have no intention of appearing in heaven again?"
"NO."
"Then the emperor does not need to know everything. The fact that he did not know until now is unusual, but it is not in my interest to inform him about matters on earth."
"I understand and thank you." Wukong replied.
"You must also give up the journey, in its current state. Although you would certainly help Tripitaka reach his destination, you cannot endanger the child in the process."

In the land of darkness where light cannot reach. Liuer listened. The last few months had been very stressful for him, but take it slow, he told himself. Everything will be as it should be, she will be with him. Just wait until she comes to him. He knew that she was missing the sun and that she felt bad there. He managed to find her kingdom. It is quite run down and the inhabitants must have left a long time ago. Although, it is not surprising, it is perfect to create a home here. All you need to do is renovate here. She will like it, she will stay with him, they will talk, she just has to wait.
