Wukong fell asleep. the prince emerged from the shadows in the doctor's room. The doctor is a little scared because he knows how much a prince can be... protective of those he loves. And honestly, the doctor was aware that the prince was deeply in love with Wukong. Personally, He feels sorry for the golden-haired monkey. He was caught up in this dark world just like the doctor once was. Working as a personal physician in the royal palace could be said to be hard. Not only is he the personal doctor, but also the confidant of the royal family's secrets. Because of this, he is also a prisoner in the castle, and what's worse, the king has unlimited power to influence the doctor. This whole royal family is sick in itself.
"Oh.. Prince.. what brings you here?"
the prince looked at him with deadly eyes. "Wukong. Tell me... why was she examined by some celestial? He had no right to do that."
"Unfortunately, he did. Additionally, he had permission from the king."
"ah.. Yes? Then tell me why my father gave him permission? What does it mean that he had the right? He didn't!"
"She... is not what we thought..."
"What does it mean!?"
"I can not say..."
The prince looked straight into the doctor's eyes. He knew his father might be eavesdropping. "I see. We'll get to that later. But right now... Wukong's condition is very bad. She destroyed the entire room. Fortunately, nothing serious happened to her. She was angry that this celestial examined her..."
"I had no other choice..."
"Really? We'll get to that too. Wukong was having a breakdown when I came to see her. She told me she didn't want to take the medicine or be examined by you anymore. She got fever. I should take her to you, but that's it what Wukong told me, you are no longer trustworthy. What else? She told me she was afraid. You had one task, to cure her so that there would be no more complications."
"I.."
"I hope you will explain it to me well. Everything. Do we understand each other? And now I invite you... take some useful things with you. You will examine her under my control."
The doctor nodded. He took the bag. They passed through the shadow portal. and they found themselves in the prince's room. Wukong was still sleeping.
"You can speak freely here. You have to say everything you know."
Like father like son, thought doctor.
"What about her?" asked the doctor.
"she's sleeping. she has a fever. and she hurt her hand. I bandaged her because she didn't want to go to you"
They approached the bed. The prince watched the doctor's work. The doctor pulled out some liquid in a glass bottle.
"What is this?"
"it's just a fever reducer. She shouldn't have a fever after that."
he handed the prince a bottle and a glass. the prince poured some into a glass. "You'd better get away from her. You've gotten yourself into such a state that when she sees you, she'll have a panic attack," said the prince. the doctor moved far away. the prince sat down next to Wukong. He nudged him lightly. "Sunshine... wake up..."
Wukong mumbled something. "Sunshine?"
Suddenly tears started flowing down his cheeks. The prince became worried. "Sunshine, what happened?"
"It hurts... it hurts a lot... it's hot..."
the prince put glass on the bedside table.
"does your head hurt?"
Wukong nodded.
"You'll feel better soon..."
"I'm not going to the doctor..."
"we're not going anywhere..." The prince wiped away Wukong's tears. Wukong sniffled. The prince took the glass. "you just have to drink this and you can go back to sleep"
"I don't want the medicine..."
"it's not a medicine... it's just... You just have to drink it. You won't feel hot anymore..." he put the glass to his lips.
"open it please... just drink this... and you'll go back to sleep..." he tilted the glass. Wukong drank. He set the glass aside. He looked at Wukong with eyes full of concern and love. He touched Wukong's cheek. "it's over... you can go to sleep... inhale... exhale..."
Wukong fell asleep. Just in case, the prince used shadows to cover his ears so he wouldn't hear their conversation. He turned towards the doctor.
"You see what state you've reduced her to. Now you have to tell me everything."
Well, when the king finds out about this, he will definitely kill him.
"She is one of the celestial primates....just like you..." said the doctor. the prince's eyes widened and he looked at Wukong. Would that explain why his father wanted her here so badly? something like that.
"From what I found out in the past... she made the heavens very upset... to the point that..."
"speak"
"I'll show you..." he walked up to Wukong. He broke the spell. the prince's eyes widened even more. Wukong had burnt hands, fur, many wounds, etc.
"what did they do to her?!"
"from what I know, it's... the effect of heavenly fire"
His Sunshine was hurt. the desire to care and protect was growing.
the doctor put a spell. Wukong's normal appearance returned.
"what else do you know? tell me"
"I know that... her attacks... of anger or fear... can be caused by... lapses in memory... hervfever... plus his powers, increasing... that's why the king ordered a seal to be placed on her restraining his powers so that... she wouldn't destroy everything... I also know that... her mental condition... could have deteriorated..."
"so you knew?"
"I suspected... her recurring memories were the main reason for her current condition."
"memories?!"
"unfortunately. they damage her... mind"
well, maybe it wasn't completely true, but the doctor didn't want to be killed by the king... loyal to the end.
"the medicine was supposed to stop it... but I see it didn't work"
"she said that... this medicine makes her feel bad and makes her want to vomit"
"this could be a side effect"
"she won't take this medicine anymore"
"I understand... I can recommend sedatives in this situation..."
"she won't take anything"
"give her with some tea... if you want her to get better... it would be good too if she was not exposed to stressful situations, like a meetings with your father..."
"does he know?"
"yes... he was the one who ordered me to give her the medicine."
"he knows her"
"yes... but I don't know the details..."
"if my father interferes with her health again, you must inform me immediately" the doctor nodded.
"If you have anything else to add, tell me"
"prince... she can't stay here, if she stays here longer she may not get better"
this is the only way the doctor can help Wukong get out of this palace and not get involved in the king's further nefarious affairs. the doctor took out a small box from the bag, which contained white pills. he handed it to the prince. "he must take it whenever he has an attack... panic, anxiety... it will also help with headaches"
"if this is all you can leave now"
the doctor nodded and left.
The prince felt worried, anxious... angry that his Sunshine had been hurt. he won't let anything bad happen to him. he will make sure he is happy.
On the one hand, the information that he was a celestial primate like the prince was surprising. in a good way? somehow the prince felt that this was why he felt that Wukong was meant for him, because they were the same. Wukong was honest with him when forced, of course, but the prince understands that his beloved didn't want to worry him. that's why he will reveal his little secret... they are a couple anyway and Wukong would find out about it sooner or later. As difficult as it might be for the prince... to reveal his true appearance, but now he felt a pang of guilt at having seen Wukong without his knowledge. does Wukong even know he has a spell on? Maybe it's better if he doesn't know, his condition may cause another problem. The prince thought.
.
.
.
Wukong struggled to open his eyes. His head throbbed in pain. Where was he? The last thing he remembers... is that he was nervous... he took it out in the room... he talked to the prince... I guess that's it? Wait was he supposed to do something? But what? He looked around the room. He started having trouble breathing... he was alone... he was supposed to do something... go somewhere or go out? Where is Liuer? He said he would be there for him... what's wrong with him? He felt anger, fear... fear of what? What was happening?! His head... noisy... he grabbed his head. It hurts...
Someone entered the room.
"Sunshine? Did you sleep well?" he said.
Liuer? The prince quickly approached him. "Wukong? Hey? I brought you some tea."
"I don't want the medicine..."
"it's not a medicine... it's just your favorite peach tea"
Wukong's gaze sharpened. The prince sat next to him and held a cup of tea in his hand. Liuer smiled. Wukong sat down.
"it's just tea..."
Wukong hesitantly took the cup. He drank some. Yes, it was just tea... or are you sure? But somehow he felt relieved
"I told you it's just tea. I have some good news for you."
Wukong looked at the prince questioningly.
"I've sorted it out. You won't take the medicine or go to the doctor anymore," Liuer said.
"Seriously?!" Wukong felt even more relieved... and happy.
Liuer nodded. He took his hands. "Wukong... I need to show you something...
Wukong became confused. The prince ran his hand down his face, down to his hair. Wukong's eyes widened.
"You seriously have six ears!?"
The prince grimaced at the loud sound. "Sorry... it's beautiful... and your hair..." Wukong reached out to touch it. "can...can I touch you?"
the prince nodded. Wukong gently touched his ears. They were so soft...
the prince melted into Wukong's touch. "Why didn't you show me this earlier?"
"I told you."
"yes, showing and telling are different things..."
They lay on their sides and looked into each other's eyes.
"I wanted to be honest with you as you are with me... you know everyone here is not like me... neither my parents nor the rest of the family... so... I hid it... plus now I hear even more and it's not nice ..."
"oh... but couldn't you put on a spell just to limit your hearing?"
"I could, but... it's easier... besides... as a successor, I have to look like my parents"
" I like the way you look now," he said with a smile. Liuer smiled too.
"now you really are moonshine"
"and you are still my sunshine"
the prince's tail entangled Wukong's. Wukong forgot about the rest of the world at that moment. what mattered was the here and now. The pain no longer mattered... the fatigue was still there, but it had been numbed. The fear turned into peace... wow, this tea really works, or it's the prince's doing that makes Wukong behave like this... he still feels like he's forgotten something important, but it can wait. Wukong was surprised at how good he felt now... just a moment ago his world was going crazy with pain and now there is peace. This is so suspiciously strange... After all... you can't feel pain one moment and then calm down? I guess it's peace or... his mind has completely broken down and he needs hope...
the earlobes moved, picking up sounds.
"my father wants me to see me now," said the prince.
"now? you ruined the moment"
"but I'll come back. Besides, since your clothes were ruined... you can look for something for yourself in my closet..." he said with a sly smile.
"agree"
The prince's appearance returned to normal. He stood up. "I'll be back in a moment. There's a pot of tea on the table." disappeared into the shadows. Wukong sighed. He got up. He... was supposed to do something... go somewhere... was supposed to find something? But now somehow he has more... can you say more positive thoughts? He looked at the teapot. Something didn't feel right to him... He stood up. He walked over to the table where there was a teapot. He poured himself some tea into a cup. He sniffed. He smelled peaches... and something... something else... barely noticeable... and he drank a little. It really tastes like regular tea. He didn't like this... He drank some more... And his worries were... forgotten? He threw up his arms. He'll remember later... Now, what does the prince have in his closet?
.
.
.
Liuer emerged in the throne room. The king sat on the throne and the queen next to him.
"How does she feel?" asked the queen.
"So you know?"
"I don't have hearing for nothing"
"So maybe you can explain to me why she was examined by some celestial?"
"..."
"don't interfere with my partner's health"
"son... couldn't you think about choosing someone else? I feel sorry for her, but..."
"What?! Never. I chose her. Let's change the subject. What do you want from me?"
"She cannot leave the palace. Especially now," said the king.
"And why not?"
"Because I don't consent to it"
"Honey, tell him..." said the queen.
"What should he tell me?"
The king sighed. "Since you chose her... The party was intended to make an alliance with the kingdom of heaven. The condition is Wukong."
"What?! What does she have to do with this?!"
"She... is not what you think... she is one of the most powerful beings in the world capable of destroying the world. and that makes her a weapon..."
"What?!"
"The Celestials. Powerful and immortal beings are afraid of her and what she might do. I made a deal with them. According to it, she cannot leave this realm."
The prince stood in silence.
"Son, understand. Whoever has her can control the entire order in the world."
Liuer looked at him angrily.
"Darling. Your father is right..." said the queen.
"So, you knew from the very beginning who she was."
"Yes."
"So this is all a political game?! You took advantage of it!"
"This is the world, son. This is how politics is. When you sit on the throne, you will understand it."
"How dare you!"
"To sum up, I won't let her go anywhere. I'll let you take care her, but you won't go anywhere."
The shadows began to grow.
"Liuer, control yourself," said the queen.
"Now you're getting to this point. She's been through too much. She was right, you're weird. You know what... let it be, but remember, she's mine... and don't mess with her health. Even though you're my... parents. I will show you no mercy." disappeared into the shadows.
"He will forgive us one day," said the queen.
The king sighed
.
.
.
the prince emerged from the shadows in his room. He felt angry. More people hurt his loved one. He snapped out of his thoughts and noticed that his clothes were strewn everywhere in the room. And on one of the piles of clothes, Wukong gasped. Wrapped in a large red scarf. The prince smiled and approached him. he crouched down. Wukong had hair on his face, the prince braided his hair. The prince felt a twinge of pain. How could they take advantage of her like that?
Wukong slowly opened his eyes. He smiled.
"Hey Liuer.." he yawned.
"I see you... tidied up my clothes," he said ironically.
"I tried my best," he said with a mischievous smile. "Oh... I found this scarf. You know what, it looks like a cape" he stood up and showed it.
"actually, I don't know where I got it from" he also stood up.
The prince suddenly grabbed Wukong. Wukong squealed. The prince lifted him up. "Let me go!"
"but why?"
"Hi!"
they fell on the bed. they looked straight into each other's eyes. The prince's tail tangled with Wukong's.
"How do you feel?"
"Better"
the prince touched Wukong's cheek. "When are we leaving?"
the prince's smile diminished. Wukong looked at him with hopeful eyes. Liuer could not extinguish this ray of hope. "Not long now... I still have a few things to do... have you drank your tea?"
Wukong nodded. "but it's not the same tea..."
"What do you mean?" the prince panicked a little.
"I don't know... it smells different"
"The servants may have added something to enhance the flavor, but do you like it?"
"yes. Is the peaches"
the prince breathed a sigh of relief.

I hope you like it. Even as I wrote it, I wanted to cry😭. This little hope for Wukong that he will break free and feel free plus will be with his friend.... but you know how it is 😈. The queen knew 🤯. Did you suspect her? This is how the queen will get involved. Do you think that the prince will take Wukong away from there despite the king?🤔
Yeah... this tea... was with Something😈. Oh.. and yeah 😉 we got here "Wukong' sick."
What do you think about doctor? Personally, I don't think he is bad or good. Oh.. yes Liuer in this world he looks different than his parents, he has six ears and doesn't have as black fur as them.
