Are you sure?"
"Yes. Time for me to return to my mountain."
"Remember that you are always welcome and so are these cuties." Guaiyn smiled at the little ones. Xiaotian clung to his mother's fur and slept sweetly, while his sister, full of energy, looked around and her mother's tail wrapped around her. Wukong was sitting on a cloud, this position was better to keep an eye on the little ones. He thanked Guanyin for everything and flew away.

Luckily he remembered the way home. He landed on the beach. Xiaoming looked around curiously. Xiaotian just tilted his head and looked around, then hugged his mother back.
"We're almost there."
They entered the forest.
Wukong walked towards the mountain. Everything was as it was before, but it was too quiet, too quiet.
He reached the waterfall. When the babies saw the water, they hugged their mother more.
"Relax, it's just water." he calmed down.
He stood in front of the waterfall, which parted like a curtain.
"See?"
They went inside. He walked along the tunnel. Surprisingly everything was in good condition. But he hasn't met anyone yet. So many years have passed. He reached the cave, or rather the former throne room. Which currently had plants in it and looked like a garden. The babies chirped to their mother. Wukong replied to them. Xiaoming looked around, sensing that someone was in the shadows. Searching the shadow with her eyes, she smiled as she looked into the shadow's violet eyes.

Liuer's heart burst with happiness and pain when he saw his Sunshine carrying the little ones, their children. Tears were gathering in his eyes, but he held back. He waited in the shadows. He couldn't move. The golden-haired cub recognized him. He wanted to hold them. Touch. An even bigger sting when the little monkey reached out to him with its tiny hand.
.
.
"Xiaoming, there's nothing there..." Wukong fell silent as his husband stepped out of the shadows. Wukong took a step back, holding the little ones tighter.
They stared at each other without saying a word.
"Sunshine. My dear." Liuer was the first to speak.
"Stay away."
"Wukong. Let's talk."
"How did you find me? What do you want?"
"To talk. I've been waiting for you."
"What?"
Liuer used his shadow to move closer to them. He looked at the little ones. Wukong didn't even have time to react when he took Xiaoming into his arms, fortunately Wukong's tail was wrapped around her. Xiaoming chirped at Liuer, recognizing him as a father figure. He stroked her head. The toddler rested his head on his father's shoulder. Xiaotian looked on curiously.
"Give her back to me."
"Hmm... I think she's comfortable with me, right?"
The toddler yawned and rubbed his tired eyes. She hadn't slept the whole way, so now she found a comfortable place in her father's arms.
"I guess you're tired too. The room is already ready."
"What?"
Wukong felt chills. And the alert was already going off in his head.
"Wukong, I see you're tired and the kids too, though, I'll show you our bedroom."
Liuer wanted to take Wukong's hand, but Wukong moved away abruptly and his tail tugged at Xiaoming, who groaned in dissatisfaction and tightened her hands on her father's fur.
"Careful. You'll wake her up."
"Liuer, you have to quickly explain to me what the hell you are planning."
Liuer looked up with a raised eyebrow.
"And that's it."
Liuer sighed.
"I was waiting for you, I was waiting for my wife to come back. I didn't expect you would come with children, I even didn't know, but it only made my heart happy even more. Seeing our children. I have no intention of hurting you or them."
"You already did it. Now give me Xiaoming."
Liuer looked at Wukong with surprise.
"Me? You ran away from the wedding, but I can forgive you for that."
Wukong snorted. "You lied to me, made me look crazy, and your father wanted to take revenge on me."
"I did everything for your good."
"Yes? Or maybe you were afraid that I would leave you?!"
"I looked everywhere for you. I came here for you. I renovated your castle! I did everything for us!"
"I dare you to doubt it. Now give me my baby back."
"She's my daughter too."
The tail tugged harder at Xiaoming, who began to cry.
"You're hurting her, let it go." Liuer said.
"What? It's you..."
"You're crushing her belly." he said through his teeth.
"You won't take her away from me."
"I'm not going to, now let it go, fatigue robs you of your ability to think."
"How dare you"
"Wukong now, you have to let go"
Wukong let go and released Xioming. Liuer brought the little one even closer, rubbing her back and soothing her. "It's okay. Mommy didn't want to, she's tired." Xiaoming whispered in his ears and wiped away the tiny tears. Wukong felt a twinge of anger.
"Now, I insist you rest and we'll talk later. I'll take care of the children."
"No way."
"It is. And you have no choice."
"What?"
Liuer used the shadows to transport them to a room with a large bed. The room was spacious, on the right side there were large windows showing the picturesque landscape of the island. The walls were decorated with golden frescoes. Liuer took the second baby, the baby squealed, but after a while he calmed down. His sister's tail tangled with his. Liuer sat down in the chair.
"What are you doing?!"
"Don't shout. You'll wake them up. I told you you're tired. We need to talk, but it's not important now."
"What are you going to do, sit there and stare at me while I sleep?"
"If you want, we can sleep together."
"No thanks."
"And you are aware that we are married and that we will sleep in this bed anyway?"
"And you said I was sick?"
Liuer looked at Wukong, sighed, stood up and walked towards him. He lay down next to Wukong, who looked at him in surprise. "Get out."
"I see your manners have gotten worse, but don't worry, we'll work on it."
He brought Wukong closer to him.
"What are you doing?"
"You obviously won't go to bed without me, Sunshine."
"What? No. I'm not tired, I don't need a nap."
Liuer sighed. "Whatever you want."
The little ones slept peacefully. Wukong watched. Liuer took a breath and closed his eyes. Wukong began to stare at Liuer, and the prince pretended not to know it at all. Finally, Wukong gave in and rested his head on the prince's shoulder and sleep took him.
