"Liuer? Where are we?" Wukong asked. They were in a room that looked like just a front room. Its style resembled a throne room, but it was much brighter and the walls were painted in light colors. Gold decorations were also noticeable. At the top was a crystal chandelier that was the main light source.
Everything looked very rich. Liuer took his lover's hands. He smiled. Wukong was confused.
"I know how much you don't like the dark." Liuer said. “I tried to make sure there was as much light as possible.”
Wukong looked at him questioningly. Liuer took him by the hand and led him to the door. They went outside. It wasn't that dark outside. The sky was more of the colors of evening than of deep night. The dark mountains were visible in the horizont, but behind them were tiny rays of sunlight that were setting. Wukong turned to Liuer. Liuer smiled warmly and hugged him. Wukong dared to hug back.
"Anything for you, Sunshine," Liuer whispered.
"But how?.. Where?" he was lost for words. Liuer stroked his head.
"Let's go inside now, shall we? It's starting to get dark. I'll show you everything," he said gently. Wukong nodded. They went back inside. Liuer held Wukong's hand. Liuer looked at Wukong, took his other hand, and they began to spin around. Wukong squealed, the prince chuckled. They stopped. Wukong felt dizzy.
.
.
This house was definitely built like a royal palace, only the significant difference was that it was bright, it was more colorful. This is what Wukong liked. The estate was significantly far from the main city. It was on the outskirts of the kingdom, so the sun's rays were visible there. The property was large, but not as the palac. The rooms were furnished, although not all of them. The servants weren't there yet, but that didn't bother Wukong. Their things weren't there yet (clothes, Wukong's paintings, books, etc.)
Liuer would show him this later, but given the situation, it was the only safe place for his beloved.
Now they were in their bedroom. Medium sized room. With a view of the mountains. So that a bit of light would come into the room.
Wukong sat on the bed and actually lay down. He forgot about those bad events in the palace. It all definitely made him feel better.
"Liuer? When did you organize all this?" Wukong asked, sitting up and looking at the prince. Liuer chuckled nervously.
"It's been a long time coming... it was supposed to be..." Liuer started, but he got stressed and couldn't finish because he didn't know how to tell him. Now wasn't the time, he had just rescued Wukong from his father's clutches.
Wukong stood up and walked over to him. They looked straight into each other's eyes.
"Tell me. Nothing will surprise me anymore," said Wukong.
Liuer took his hands. He took a breath and said.
"It was supposed to be a gift for you. I built this house for you. For us, so that we could live in peace without my family," Liuer said. Wukong's eyes widened. It was all for him. The prince did it for him. Okay, that shocked him though. Wow. He... that's adorable. Wukong thought. His heart started beating faster. The longer they stood like that, Wukong felt that this wasn't the end of the news for the day.
"Wukong... I love you. I love you with all my heart. I would do anything for you that you wish... I know this isn't the most perfect moment, but... I just love you and I want to be with you until the end life..."
Wukong felt hot. He better not finish, Wukong thought. He could already feel what was going to happen next and it scared him very much. Time slowed down.
He likes the prince, very much. He's charming, caring and overprotective, but... but also a little disturbing. This whole world is disturbing. He told him he was sick. His whole family told him he was sick. He didn't believe him when he said he remembered.
A voice in the back of his head was telling him loud and clear that he couldn't trust anyone from this family in this kingdom and that he should get his act together. He got his weapon back, so let him run away now, let him leave it here and now, but... his heart. The cursed heart, deceived by poison, does not let him go. Wukong knows that now is the best time to leave, to say no, but... if he does, he will break the prince's heart, and worse yet, he will break his own heart... does he love him after all? No? Maybe? Does not know? But he can't leave. He can't move. Why does it have to be so hard?! He knows what he wants, but... he denies himself.
If you looked closely, you could see that he couldn't really leave because he had been tamed. The wild beast has been tamed. Enslaved. It's terrible, but unfortunately true.
His heart was tied to the prince.
Liuer pulled out a small black box from behind his back. He knelt down on one knee. He looked straight into Wukong's eyes. He opened the box and inside was a gold ring with a moonstone. He took his hand.
"Wukong, will you make me the happiest being in the whole world and marry me?" Of course, it was not a question, but a simple statement declaring and imposing one correct answer.
Wukongu felt dizzy, stuffy, hot, and he definitely didn't want to hear this question.
Of course what did he do? He fainted. The prince did not expect such an answer. But it's definitely emotional, right? That's what the prince assumed, not allowing the thought that Wukong could refuse him. He hid the ring. He put his hand to Wukong's forehead and he got a damn fever.
"I knew I shouldn't do this now..." he said to himself. He picked up Wukong and placed him on the bed.
He goes to prepare the medicines.
