Author's Note - I purposely didn't write a lot about the lead up to the ceremony for Oakley and Kayce or the planning of it. Part of that was because I wanted everyone to have their own version and then be able to mold their version into mine while they read it. So there will be a few surprises in this chapter, ones I hope you like. I even thought about putting pictures with it so you all would know what I was envisioning...but I didn't want that. I want you all to have your own versions in your mind and to create your own pictures on what things look like (with a little help from me).

When I started my character Oakley, I already had this scene in my mind. I think everyone who started from the first chapter of For Him, I Would probably has the same thought as me when I say - our girl finally got what she deserves. :)

When Oakley walked onto the front porch, she saw her dad waiting. He was dressed in a nice gray suit, a small red flower pinned to his chest.

"You look beautiful," James smiled at Oakley.

"Thanks, Daddy," Oakley felt her cheeks were already sore from the amount of smiling she had already done today.

Erin walked up to James and pressed a kiss to his cheek before she looked at Oakley. Erin reached out and brushed a piece of hair out of Oakley's face, her finger tracing down Oakley's chin before dropping it.

"Are you sure, baby?" Erin said, but there wasn't any seriousness in her question.

"More than anything," Oakley thought back to Kayce's note to her. "He's it for me, Momma."

"Then I'll see you at the end of the aisle," Erin smiled before she walked off and down.

Oakley looked out and could see rows of chairs lined up facing an altar in the distance. There were wildflowers covering the wooden altar, wrapping around the sides, and blossoming out. Red, yellows, pinks, and blues dotted the bundles and flowed out onto the ground. They were huge from where Oakley was standing on the porch so there's no telling how large they were up close.

A small quartet was seated in the back and had begun to play soft music. Oakley could barely hear it, but it made her smile. Every chair seemed to be filled too from what she could see.

"Everyone's here," James said.

Oakley looked over at Beth.

"This is amazing," Oakley told her.

"Then it's perfect for you," Beth winked. "See you at the altar."

Beth grabbed the smaller bouquet on the porch railing that Oakley hadn't noticed yet. Her own bouquet was waiting for her. It had large green leaves folded back to host a variety of wildflowers. So many different colors intertwined between soft daisies. Oakley picked it up gently and turned it around. There was a delicate blue ribbon tied around, where her hand would go.

"Something blue," Oakley mumbled.

"Borrowed is your mother's veil," James nodded. "What's your old?"

"This," Oakley held out her hand with her engagement ring on her finger. "The middle stone was Evelyn's...Kayce told me."

"Sometimes that boy surprises even me," James chuckled. "I take it your new will be your wedding band?"

Oakley didn't answer, her eyes still on her engagement ring. For seven months, this ring has seen so many different hurdles and celebrations. There were days she didn't want to put it on, and days where she vowed to never take it off. Oakley took a deep breath before folding her fingers around the stems of the bouquet.
