The smell of coffee is what finally woke Oakley up. Her eyes took in the small cabin's bedroom, now that it was daylight she could actually see where she and Kayce had ended up last night. Or...early this morning.Oakley sat up and stretched her arms above her. Gathering the blanket and sheets over her chest she looked over and saw it was almost eleven in the morning. Oakley couldn't remember the last time she had slept in this late. They did get into the cabin around two in the morning though.
Glancing around Oakley saw Kayce's black button down on the floor. She threw the blankets off her and reached down to grab it. Slipping it over her head, Oakley stood up and buttoned a few buttons while she walked over to the bathroom.
Oakley's hair was a mess, so she took out the part that was still up and shook out her curls. When she turned her head, she saw a few ruby red marks on her neck and collarbone. Oakley blushed as her fingers danced over it.
"Damn cowboy," Oakley muttered with a smile.
Oakley bent over and splashed some water on her face and used the restroom before venturing back into the bedroom. While the bed was unmade and clothes tossed about, it looked cozy, with two large windows where Oakley could see the mountains in the distance, in between the large trees.
She walked out and down a short hallway, into a living room with a large fireplace and kitchen to one side. There was a large sliding glass door that was cracked. Oakley leaned her head out and breathed in the fresh air. Her face looked to the left and she saw Kayce.
He was sitting down in one of the chairs surrounding a table, looking out from the back porch at the same view as the bedroom. He had on a hoodie and boxers, his eyes still sleepy but the most relaxed look on his face Oakley had ever seen. She pushed open the door more, Kayce hearing it and looking over.
"Good morning," Oakley stepped out, her eyes squinting in the sunlight as she walked over to where he was sitting.
Kayce held out his hand for Oakley to take as she sat down sideways over his lap. Oakley wrapped an arm around Kayce's shoulders as she settled into him.
"Morning, baby," Kayce smiled, his hands roaming her body. "Sleep well?"
"Mmhmm," Oakley sighed as she snuggled into his chest, resting her head along his shoulder.
"Coffee's almost done," Kace said.
"Good," Oakley yawned. "Can't seem to wake up completely."
"C'mere," Kayce pulled Oakley's lips to his.
Oakley let out a small moan as she kissed him back, her fingers sliding back into his hair. Kayce's hand danced under his shirt she was wearing and held her hipbone as his tongue slipped past her lips. It was like his fingertips lit tiny fires along Oakley's skin.
Kayce's lips moved along her neck, Oakley tipping her head back slightly to give him more access as her fingers pulled his hair.
"Trying to leave more marks?" Oakley giggled.
Kayce's other hand gripped Oakley's other hip, pulling her up and making Oakley move to straddle Kayce's lap now. He tilted his chin up with a smirk.
"You wanna take this inside?" Oakley leaned down and pressed a sweet kiss to Kayce's lips.
"No," Kayce's hands rubbed up and down Oakey's side. "Ain't a sole around here for miles."
Oakley bit her lip, her eyes not leaving Kayce's as she reached for the first button on the shirt and undid it.
"You sure?" Oakley asked, another button undone.
"I'm sure," Kayce's eyes danced down her top half, Oakley undoing the last button.
