9 - Working It Out

***TW: TALKS OF MISCARRIAGE***

I woke up laying in a hospital bed and I sighed since I was in a room. I looked and saw Wanda sitting in the chair beside the bed, working on her laptop.

"Hey." I said and adjusted in the bed, and she gave me a weak smile.

"Hey..." Wanda said. She looked like she wanted to say something which wasn't hard to figure out. I just half nodded. "I'm sorry." Wanda said and I half nodded as tears filled my eyes and I ran my hand over my stomach feeling completely empty.

"Do you have my cellphone?" I asked and she nodded handing it to me. I pulled up my text messages.

BLAIR: Hey...

I wasn't surprised when the 3 dots appeared quickly.

MISTER: Hey, I'm so happy you're awake.

BLAIR: Yeah, to Wanda in my room with me...

MISTER: You know I couldn't be there Blossom.

I rolled my eyes and sighed.

BLAIR: Something would have been nice.

MISTER: I did, there is a vase in your room full of sunflowers.

BLAIR: Not what I meant...

MISTER: Blossom...

BLAIR: Forget it, I get it.

I put my phone down and just figured I would just rest and get to go home later today. I saw there was an IV hooked up and I was getting some blood as well.

"Did I lose a lot?" I asked pointing to the blood and she nodded.

"You did, they doctor is concerned and would like you to stay a couple days just to make sure everything is okay." Wanda said and I half nodded. I picked my phone back up and sighed.

BLAIR: Going to be here for a couple of days. Wanda told me I lost a lot of blood, and he wants to keep me to make sure everything is okay.

MISTER: Thank you for the update.

I looked at my phone very confused about what was going on and why that was the answer I had just received. I just sighed and put my phone away. I then looked at Wanda.

"You don't have to stay here...you can go home. I'll be fine." I said and she sighed.

"Are you sure?" Wanda asked and I nodded.

"Yeah, I need to call my dad anyways and I don't know how that's going to go." I said and she laughed.

"Okay well if you need anything in the next few days, please call me and I will be right back here." Wanda said and I nodded. She gave me a hug and then headed out of the room, and I grabbed my phone to see it start ringing and it was Bucky.

"Hey."

"Hey, I wanted to call and check on you."

"I'm good Bucky, thank you. I'm going to be here for a couple of days but other than that." I spoke.

I looked across the room and saw the sunflowers that Steve had sent. I then sighed.

"Bucky...who brought me here?" I asked.

"Well, I rode with the ambulance. Secret service followed but I wanted to make sure you were okay. We were all so worried. They brought you in a private entrance and you are in a private room on a high security floor so no one would notice." Bucky explained and I just looked at my lap.
