Hey, guys! So, I just wanted to share my HCs for the book, mainly of Alex and Henry. In case you couldn't tell, my works tend to be based on the book rather than the movie. Also, feel free to send in requests. Just give me the plot and any limits you have. I won't write smut, though. Anyways, on with the HCs.
1) Alex gets anxiety anytime his name trends on social media and in the news
In the book, we see a lot more of Alex angst around them being outed. He was absolutely terrified that he ruined his mother's campaign. I believe he already had an anxiety disorder, but this definitely triggered him.
2) When Alex has anxiety attacks, Henry sings to him.
3) June texts/calls Henry when she's worried about her brother.
4) June also texts Henry embarrassing pictures of Alex.
5) After being outed, Alex refuses to be intimate in emails with Henry.
Alex definitely fears they'll be hacked again, so he doesn't get as explicit as before.
6)Alex and Henry both have "History, huh?" tattooed on their bodies.
7) Henry actually contemplated enlisting after the email leak in a way to earn the trust of his people back.
In the book, Henry shit talks the royal family and he had to do a tour of amends pretty much.
8) Zahra found out that Shaan knew about Alex and Henry and angrily withheld sex.
9) Henry only talks about his dad to Alex.
10) Alex only talks about his parents' divorce to Henry.
