Mini Baguette Pizzas

Ingredients:

Parisian baguette, sliced into 1-inch sections1 tsp olive oil (for brushing)Generous tsp of pizza sauce (for each baguette slice)Slices of mushroomsSlices of green peppersSlices of onionsFresh basil leavesGrated or sliced cheddar cheeseDillSalt and pepperParsleyOregano

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a sheet pan with aluminum foil for easy cleanup.

Prepare the Baguette Slices:

Lay out the 1-inch sections of Parisian baguette on the prepared sheet pan.Brush each baguette slice with a teaspoon of olive oil. The oil helps to crisp up the baguette while baking.

Add Pizza Sauce:

Spoon a generous teaspoon of pizza sauce onto each baguette slice, on top of the olive oil. Spread it evenly to the edges.

Toppings:

Layer each baguette slice with slices of mushrooms, green peppers, and onions according to your preference.Place a fresh basil leaf on each baguette slice for a burst of flavor.

Cheese:

Sprinkle or place grated or sliced cheddar cheese on top of all the other ingredients. Be as generous with the cheese as you like!

Seasonings:

Finish off your mini baguette pizzas with a sprinkle of dill, salt, pepper, parsley, and oregano. Adjust the seasonings to taste.

Bake:

Place the prepared sheet pan in the preheated oven and bake for 8-9 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the baguette slices are toasted to your desired level of crispiness.

Serve:

Remove the mini baguette pizzas from the oven and let them cool slightly. Then, serve them hot as a delicious appetizer, snack, or party treat!
