a Recipe by Jake Nobello
Ingredients:
1 egg
3 slices brown or whole grain bread (or freshly made)
1/4 cup of your choice of milk
1 cup cranberries (fresh, dried, or frozen)
1/2 cup peaches, diced
1/2 cup blueberries
1 cup fresh grapes (green or your choice)
1/3 cup non-pasteurized honey
Instructions:
In a bowl, whisk together the egg and milk.
Dip each slice of bread into the egg-milk mixture, ensuring it's well-coated on both sides.
Cook the bread slices on a griddle or pan until golden brown on each side.
In a saucepan, combine cranberries, peaches, blueberries, grapes, and honey.
Simmer over medium heat until the fruits are softened, and the honey forms a syrupy consistency.
Place the French toasts on a plate.
Pour the fresh fruit confit over the top.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delightful Fresh Fruit Confit and French Toast!
Feel free to adjust the fruit combination based on your preferences. Enjoy your delicious breakfast!
