Ingredients:

1 cup whole quinoa flour

1 cup organic coconut palm sugar

3/4 cup organic cocoa powder

1/2 cup whole pea flour

2 tablespoons organic ground flax

2 teaspoons baking powder

4 large eggs

1 cup melted butter or coconut oil

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup coconut or almond milk

**Alternative Natural Sweeteners - Instead of coconut palm sugar, you can use honey or maple syrup. If you do, adjust the liquid ingredients slightly to maintain the right consistency. For every 1 cup of sugar replaced, reduce the liquid (milk) by 1/4 cup.

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a baking pan or line it with parchment paper.

In a mixing bowl, whisk together the whole quinoa flour, organic coconut palm sugar (or alternative sweetener), cocoa powder, whole pea flour, organic ground flax, and baking powder. Ensure they are well combined.

In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add the melted butter or coconut oil, vanilla extract, and coconut or almond milk. Mix well.

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until you have a smooth batter.

Pour the brownie batter into the prepared baking pan.

Bake in the preheated oven for approximately 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. The exact time may vary, so keep an eye on them to prevent overbaking.

Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for a while, then transfer them to a wire rack to cool completely. Once cooled, cut them into squares or your desired shape.

These brownies will be a healthier, more nutritious treat compared to traditional brownies. The quinoa and pea flours provide extra protein and fiber, while the natural sweeteners add a touch of natural sweetness. Enjoy your homemade brownies!
