Ingredients:

1/2 pound ground beef

1/2 pound ground pork

1 cup white onions, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

1 can (15 ounces) green or yellow beans, drained

1 can (15 ounces) mixed vegetables, drained (or use frozen or fresh vegetables)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or your preferred cheese)

2 cups cooked macaroni  or Mac 'n Cheese noodles (cooked according to package instructions)

Instructions:

Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

In a large skillet or frying pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef and ground pork until browned and cooked through. Break the meat apart into crumbles as it cooks. Drain any excess grease.

In the same pan, add the chopped white onions and celery. Sauté for a few minutes until they become tender.

Add the drained green or yellow beans, the drained mixed vegetables, and the cooked macaroni noodles to the skillet. Mix everything together.

Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste. Be cautious with the salt as the cheese will add some saltiness later.

Transfer the cooked meat, vegetable, and macaroni mixture to a greased 9x13-inch casserole dish or a similar-sized ovenproof dish.

Sprinkle the grated cheese evenly over the top of the casserole.

Place the casserole dish in the preheated oven and bake for about 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the casserole is heated through.

Once the casserole is done, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Then, serve it hot.

Enjoy your homemade Macaroni and Cheese Casserole, which combines the goodness of mac and cheese with a meat and vegetable mixture for a hearty meal.
