"I'm so sorry about that Cassie. Our parents arranged our marriage after her first mate died. You didn't deserve to be treated that way." Zeke asked.
"Was she right? Am I your...mate?" I asked hesitantly. Zeke looked to me and smiled.
"Yes but please do not run because of your past. Join our pack. If you don't want to be my mate, I'll accept rejection but... I hope you take the time to get to know me before you decide to not be my mate." He said quietly.
"Why would you want me as a mate? I'm weak and not fit to be Luna." I asked quietly. He laughed softly.
"Cassie you have a lot to learn about yourself. Have you seen your wolf? You're a rare breed. Your wolf hasn't been seen in a hundred thousand years. They stopped teaching about your wolf because they said they were extinct. You have the strongest wolf that ever lived." He said.
"That's not possible the strongest wolf to ever live is a pure." I said. He smiled and nodded.
"That can't be. I'm weak why would I have that wolf?" I asked more of to myself.
"Cassie you're not weak. You have survived everything you have been through and you still stayed kind. You're so much stronger than you think. Would you like to see your wolf?" He asked quietly. I nodded nervously. He motioned for me to follow him so I did. We made our way outside to the woods, when we got closer to the center of the woods I saw a mirror and some blankets.
"It's used for training mostly." Zeke said. He shifted his wolf was a huge, beautiful black wolf with green eyes. He came up to me and I instinctively ran my fingers through his fur as he rubbed his head against my leg. After a few minutes he sat down as if waiting for me, so I shifted. My wolf ran right for him and tackled him, I had no control over her in this moment. It was unexpected.

Our wolves played together for a while before Zeke walked over to the mirror and sat by it, I knew he was waiting for me to look. I walked over and I was shocked. My wolf is a pure. She's huge and beautiful with her solid white coat and bright blue eyes. After I saw my wolf, Zeke shifted back to human form covering himself with a blanket. He wrapped a blanket around me so I could shift back in privacy, I shifted back staring in the mirror in shock of what I seen.
"Will you please still join my pack?" Zeke asked.
"Yes" I said quietly. He bit his arm as he handed it to me. I drank from his arm and looked to him.
"Repeat after me. I, Cassiopeia Solace, vow to serve and protect you as alpha of the Obsidian Moon Pack for as long as I live" He said and I repeated word for word. As I finished I felt a stronger connection with Zeke. I wanted to jump his bones where we stood but I controlled myself well. I suddenly heard a voice in my mind.
'Wolves spotted 50 yards of the training mirror' a man said. I knew it was someone in the pack communicating telepathically.
'Get here now I'm with Cassie. She has joined our pack now, I command she's protected at all costs' I heard Zeke say in my mind. I smiled slightly.
"Cassie we need to shift and you need to run to the house we came from. If you go through the back doors and down the left hall, all the way at the end on the right is Meadows room. You can hide there" He said quietly.
"Zeke I'm sorry but I can't do that. I'll fight by you and with you. As I just swore I will protect you as long as I live. I brought this mess upon you, I won't leave you to fight it alone and there is no arguing about it so don't try" I said sternly.
"Fine but you don't leave my sight" He said as he looked at me sternly. I nodded. We both shifted as we walked forward together. Roland appeared in front of us in human form and naked with his hands up.
"I just came to retrieve my mate and pack member." Roland said. I growled and so did Zeke as he stepped in front of me. He shifted into human form, I walked up next to him leaning against him as he ran his hands through my fur. He looked down at me and smiled before returning his glare to Roland.

"She's not your mate or your pack member." He said loudly.
"Yes she is, please return her." Roland commanded.
"She's not anybody's property. She's not your pack member as she just joined my pack. She is NOT your mate she is mine." Zeke said with a loud growl.
"Cassie please I messed up. I am sorry for how you have been treated. Please come home." Roland said looking to me. I instantly was furious. Meadow appeared behind me as she placed a blanket over me. I shifted to human form.
"What so now I'm good enough? Now I'm not weak?" I yelled furiously.
"I made a mistake Cassie please" He said.
"No. I am home. I'm never going back to that poor excuse of a pack." I said as I turned towards Zeke looking at him. He smiled at my words.
"If you don't return then it'll be war and I'll come to kill your myself." Roland said now angry.
"You almost killed here once. I saved her life. If you want a war just remember who you're waging war against." Meadow said.
"We wouldn't be here if you would've let that worthless girl die" Roland yelled at Meadow. Zeke shifted in an instant and went straight for Roland who also shifted, instinctively I shifted and followed. As Zeke tackled Roland I bit into Roland's leg causing him to let out a loud howl. Suddenly I was on the ground with another word on me, someone bit down on my leg, I howled loudly. That bite would not stop me with the fury running through me I flung the wolves off of me. More wolves appeared but they were from my new pack as they attacked the wolves who attacked me I ran to Zeke. He was still holding Roland down. As I circled Roland I growled loudly and I bit his other leg. He howled again before he shifted back to human form.
"You'll regret this Cassie. This is war." Roland cried out. Zeke stepped off Roland.
Roland and his men ran out of the woods. Zeke shifted back to human form and glanced to my leg.
"Cassie are you okay?" He asked and suddenly I felt weak, I shook my head as I shifted back to human form and hit the ground.
"Meadow get me that blanket now!" He yelled as she tossed the blanket. He wrapped it around me and picked me up in his arms. The last thing I remember before passing out was the electricity that shot through my body.
