We all laughed as we talked. It was such a happy occasion. I went to the kitchen and got out an apple pie and warmed it up while also grabbing vanilla ice cream from the freezer and walking back to the table.
"I brought apple pie and vanilla ice cream for desert." I said placing it on the table. We all began to dig in. When we all were done eating we helped Ava clean up the table.
"I'm going to head upstairs and take a shower, I'll see you guys in the morning." Kyla said. I hugged her and said goodnight, Zeke did the same before she headed upstairs.
"I'm going to head to bed, if your mom will be here tomorrow I'll need to cook something great." Ava said.
"Don't worry about overdoing it, she's not in charge anymore and will not be speaking to you the way she used too. I hope you'll still join us for dinner tomorrow even though she'll be here" zeke said smiling. Ava smiled and nodded. We said good nights and then she headed towards her room. Zeke and I took our drinks to the main living room. He turned on the fireplace before sitting on the couch and lifting his arm for me to sit with him.

I sat next to him and leaned back against him. I smiled as I watched the fire and sipped my wine. I never thought this is how my life would turn out.
"I love you Zeke. I'm so happy with you." I said quietly as I stared at the fire.
"I love you Cassie. I'm happy with you as well. I couldn't imagine a better life." Zeke said as he kissed the back of my head.
"Can we get a pool?" I asked randomly.
"Anything you want my love, why a pool though?" He asked curiously.
"I think it would be good for Kyla, something for her to do whenever she's bored and feels like she's in the way and I have never had a pool before." I said smiling at the thought of having a pool.
"Well of course, I think that's a great idea but we're not going to buy one. We're going to build one." He said. I nodded so he knew I agreed.
"I'll meet with some people tomorrow." He said. I nodded again.
"Are you ready for bed, my love?" I asked quietly.
"If you are." He said. I stood and grabbed his glass taking both mine and his glasses to the kitchen. When I returned he had turned off the fireplace and was waiting for me.

"Are you ready, my love?" I asked. He smiled as he walked towards me and scooped me up bridal style.
"Our wedding is in 2 days, are you nervous?" Zeke asked looking at me intently.
"As long as you're there I'll be just fine." I said with a small laugh.
"Well I would like to think the wedding couldn't happen without me" he said with a small laugh as he started walking up the stairs.
"Or me" I said winking at him "tomorrow I need to check with everyone to make sure everything is prepared for the wedding."
"And my parents will be here, it'll be a busy day tomorrow." He said as we walked into our room.
"Speaking of wedding, are you doing a bachelors party?" I asked curiously.
"Knowing my brother probably, the girls had asked if they could plan something with you tomorrow evening. I agreed as long as you will take Truett and Emiliano with you guys wherever you go." He said looking at me as he set me down on my feet. I nodded in agreement, I would feel safer with somebody who is sober watching over us. We both climbed into bed and cuddled up together. Within minutes I dozed off quickly. When I woke Zeke was still asleep, I looked at the clock it was 9:30am. I rolled out of bed and headed towards the bathroom.

After using the bathroom I climbed in the shower and took a quick but relaxing shower. Then I made my way to the closet. I remember I was meeting Zeke's parents today so I picked out a dull light blue plunging neck butterfly sleeve ruched waist dress. I put it on and picked out a pair a simple black heels to wear before walking to the bathroom. I began to dry and curl my hair when Zeke walked into the bathroom carrying 2 coffee cups. He placed one next to me on the bathroom sink as he looked at me. He didn't move, he just stared as he eyes traveled down and back up.
"Do you hate it?" I asked concerned with his unreadable facial expression.
"Absolutely not. I swear you get more beautiful everyday my love." He said kissing my cheek. I smiled as I put the curler down and turned towards him. He pulled me to him and smiled. I leaned forward and kissed him gently but he of course deepened it quickly. He drove me crazy, I don't think I could live without him. He pulled back and glanced at me as if he had read my thoughts and agreed with me.
"Okay, finish what you were doing. I'm going to shower, if I don't you'll have to start over and probably find a new outfit." Zeke said teasingly. I smiled as I turned back to the counter and took a drink of my coffee.

When I finished curling my hair I put on some makeup and put everything away. I grabbed my coffee and headed to the office. When I sat at the computer I checked my email and I began making calls to see where everything was at for the wedding. When I was done, I felt a bit relieved as everything was in order. I looked at the clock it was 10:15am so I made my way to our kitchenette and made some omelets for Zeke and I. When the omelets were done I loaded the dishwasher and Zeke walked in, we ate our breakfast.
"I checked on all of the wedding stuff, it seems to all be in order." I said looking at him. His smile lit up the room.
"That's good news! That means everything is running on schedule. Speaking of wedding, I booked our honeymoon. We'll only be gone for 3 days, when we get back I'd like to get Kyla settled with school and we can start planning for you for a career. How does that sound?" He asked.
"I like that idea, I know I said I'd like to be a teacher but what if we could make all 3 into a career?" I asked looking at him.
"What do you mean?" He asked looking confused.
"What if we could make a school and hospital joined together? Like one half is the pack school and the other is the pack hospital? Meadow could still be the pack doctor, I could get my degree to assist her. Then I was thinking that we could keep the school the way it is and I could help run it and we could get Jay a degree to be a teacher and same with Leilany. I could also get my law degree and be the business lawyer, which hopefully we'll never need. But if we have the school and the hospital together, we can train the pack simple healing practices that could save lives of pack members when there's a fight or they're not close to the pack." I said. Zeke looked at me with wide eyes, making me nervous.
