Chapter 21

"Hi my love" he said crawling up next to me. I laid my head on his chest.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"It's 6:30pm" he said quietly.
"How did your meeting go?" I asked quietly.
"Good I have a clear schedule the next 3 days. We'll get the people to safety tomorrow night and be prepared Monday night. But I'm all yours tonight and tomorrow until we gotta move people." He said. I smiled as he kissed my forehead.
"Are you hungry?" He asked me.
"Yah I haven't eaten since breakfast I got busy then sat down to read and must've fallen asleep." I said.
"How's the work thing go?" He asked. I told him about the colleges and the workload and then the conversation with my boss.
"This is all your decision love but if you like your job I'll support you through it all" he said. I leaned forward and kissed him softly. I love how supportive he is.
"Can we go out to eat? I'm really craving my favorite restaurant right now." I said quietly.
"Do you wanna go out or order in?" He asked.
"Go out. They make me a special meal when I go" I said quietly. Zeke smiled when I said that.
"Well let's get dressed and we can go" He said. He stood up and put his hand out for me as I took it I stood up. We walked to the closet and I took off what I had on. I put on a pair of black skinny jeans with some tears and a black spaghetti strap, crop top, tank top. I found my red and black plaid flannel and slid it on before tieing the bottom so that my belly was exposed and grab my black flip flops. I stopped at the mirror and decided to put a big claw clip in my hair to keep it up but keep it cute.

When Zeke walked out he was wearing a pair of black dress pants with a red short sleeve shirt. He looked good in those colors.
"You ready my love?" He asked as I admired him from a distance. I nodded before walking to his side. We made our way to the car only this time we didn't have a driver and it wasn't the same car. This car is a dark grey Ferrari 812 GTS.
"This is a Ferrari 812 GTS. It's a $430,000 car. The Ferrari 812 GTS generates 789 horses and 530 lbs of torque, so you can hit 60 mph in just less than three seconds and it can reach 211 mph." I said quietly and Zeke stopped in his tracks and looked at me.
"Man if I was not attracted to you before I definitely would be now. How'd you know all that?" He asked.
"My dad and I used to look at cars together and he taught me most of what I know about them. But since he died I keep up on it on my own so that it feels like he's still with me" I said.
"Well I love that about you. I really just love everything about you." Zeke said causing me to blush. Zeke opened the passenger door helping me in before shutting the door and walking to the drivers side and getting in. He drove to the chinese restaurant with my help in directions once we got into town. When we arrived I began to get a little nervous, this is our first real date. When we entered I saw Bev taking care of another table so I waited patiently. Zeke pulled me under his arm so I was tucked under his side. When she saw me she smiled big before she glanced to Zeke, raising an eyebrow.

"Well well well Jacob and I were beginning to think you had died or weren't ever coming back" Bev said laughing.
"Nah you know I come or order at least once a week." I said laughing.
"Who's the dream boat?" Bev asked curiously. Zeke and I both chuckled.
"I'm Zeke, Cassie's fiancé" he said as he stuck out his hand. She shook his hand and stared speechlessly for a minute.
"It was fast but when you know, you know. He's very good to me." I said to Bev. She smiled lightly.
"Well Zeke, I'm Bev. It is very nice to meet you. Cassie is my favorite customer, I think it goes without saying but if you hurt her I'll kill you" Bev said giving Zeke the most serious face she could muster up. I laughed quietly, as did Zeke.
"No worries Bev, I promise I won't hurt her" Zeke said, smiling at me. I began to blush slightly and Bev walked us to a booth in the back. Before I sat down Jacob appeared from the kitchen.
"Cassie!?" Jacob said with a giant smile hugging me.
"Well hello stranger" I said laughing as I hugged him back.
"Where you been?" He asked pulling away.
"I've been a little busy lately, I'm sorry I haven't been in. I hope you didn't forget how to make my special order" I said with a small laugh.
"Never! In fact we added it to the menu. I named it "Cassie's special" the bosses loved it." He said smiling. Zeke cleared his throat, to make his presence known. I smiled at him and grabbed his hand in mine.
"Jacob, this is Zeke. My fiancé. Zeke, this is Jacob. The best cook around." I said introducing them. Zeke and Jacob shook hands.
"It's very nice to meet you." Jacob said with a slight smile.
"Nice to meet you as well" Zeke said.

"Well y'all take your seats! I'll be back to grab food orders in a second and Bev can get your drinks." Jacob said before walking away. Bev already knew I wanted sweet tea and Zeke also ordered a sweet tea. It wasn't too long before Jacob reappeared to grab our orders. Zeke also ordered the Cassie special. Jacob went to cook the food and we were left by ourselves.
"After we get done here can you show me your old place?" Zeke asked looking at me curiously.
"I actually was hoping we could get some money from my place and go to get some things they may need this weekend." I said quietly.
"No need to get your money. We'll run to the store after we eat and get things we need and drop them off at your old place. Have you made a list yet?" He asked. I shook my head and he retrieved a pen and pad from his coat pocket. He opened the pad and ripped off a piece of paper, handing it to me along with the pen. I began to write the list starting with toothbrushes, wipes, toilet paper, diapers, toothpaste, shampoo and conditioner for adults and kids. I flipped the paper over and made a grocery list for food. I handed him the list and the pen and smiled.
"Thank you for being supportive" I said quietly. Zeke leaned over and kissed the top of my head. Suddenly Jacob appeared with our food, he set it down in front of us and smiled.
"I hope you guys enjoy!" He said, smiling.
"We will most definitely" I said, knowingly. We both dug into our food and both ate every bit of our food. When Zeke was finally done eating he glanced at me with wide eyes.
"Damn girl you put that food away with absolutely no sign it ever existed." Zeke said laughing. I began to blush slightly as I quietly laughed.
"It's good I can't help it." I said quietly.
"It was pretty amazing, are you ready to go?" He asked quietly in my ear. I nodded shyly. The feeling of his breathe on my ear and knowing he was so close, was making me unbelievably horny for him.
