*Y/n / Strax pov*

We had just gotten back to the edge after the assault on Viggo's shipyard and everything hurt. I felt like I got run over by a dozen Gammoth and then an Ucanlos for good measure. Laying down in the clubhouse, I closed my eyes, trying to get some rest as the others landed. Hearing the sound of footsteps get closer, I felt something press up against my side.

Stormfly : "so... what happened my flame?"

Y/n / Strax : "*groan* ... I'm not entirely sure myself but I think Daggur saved me, as humiliating as that is."

Stormfly : "huh... wait, why did you have to get rescued? Normally you would have just obliterated the shipyard and been done with it, even if it was a trap which it definitely seemed like when we all got there."

As she asked, I felt a mix of irritation and humiliation bubble up inside me like acid. Truthfully, I didn't want to answer but I took a deep breath anyway as I tried to swallow my pride.

Y/n / Strax : "they... had a- *mumbles*"

Stormfly : "what? I can't hear you."

Y/n / Strax : "they had some drago- *mumbles*

At that, Stormfly just looked at me, an unimpressed expression across her face as she moved so that she could better look me in the eyes, to which I looked away a bit, a slight blush of embarrassment barely visible on my face.

Stormfly : "y/n, what happened?"

Y/n / Strax : "*groan* they had those damned dragon fell berries!"

Covering my Snout with my paws to try to hide some of my embarrassment at my normal rampage being paused by a berry of all things Stormfly merely looked at me, her expression now overwhelmingly confused as she cocked her head to the side.

Stormfly : "i... think I might be missing something here. What's a dragon fell berry?"

Y/n / Strax : "oh... yes that right there not native to the area so you all wouldn't know about them. *sigh* ok, dragon fell berries are a species of plant from my old territory. They are capable of draining a monster or dragon's bio energy and completely preventing elder dragons from using our most powerful abilities. I am unsure of the specifics of how they exactly do that but I'm sure Ama would know, she once tried using them to augment the nesto with an 'anti elder cannon' which remains my least favorite of her designs to date..."

Stormfly : "so... kinda like a blue oleander?"

Y/n / Strax : "... pardon?"

Stormfly : "y'know a blue oleander, bright navy-blue flower, toxic to most dragons minus scauldrons, generally growing in big patches around the archipelago?"

Unburying my head from my paws, I thought for a moment, trying to remember if I had seen anything like that when I was flying. A few blue, blurry splotches popped into my mind seeming to fit that description but then again those very well could have been damn near anything.

Y/n / Strax : "I think? Though, I was moving too fast to get a good look."

Stormfly : "Well, I'll try to point some out to you some time."
