My whole night of sleep was ruined bit by bit when I shot up thinking they are here and then forcing myself back to sleep. But that all ended around 9 am when I decided to finally wake up. I started getting ready, we don't know when they'll come, but the deadline was today. I put on my whole tactical clothes and packed my vest with clips and magazines. Alexander woke up right after me and he started getting ready as well. We did not say a word to each other the whole time.

Just before I walk out of our room, Alexander caught my hand and stopped me to look at him. "Please don't make me worry about you" he breathed. "Alex.. I'm in the fight too. But I promise I will be careful and you better be careful as well, I don't wanna lose you" I sighed. "Just be around me okay?" he asked and I nodded trying to comfort him by stroking my fingers along his arm. I also wanted him to be close to me.

I walked out before him and went and saw everyone in the main yard. I saw James and Matthew and other men trying to teach some of the girls and women how to shot a gun. I was confused when I approached them. "What is happening?" I asked Matthew. "I think some of the men were moved last night and talked to their wives and daughters... considering we're only a 21 persons army, I think the ladies wanted us to have better chances at winning" Matt stated. I was surprised. "They're not as bad as I thought" James spoke. "Yeah we all go hunting in the winter, guns aren't scary to them" I explained and they all nodded.

Time passes by and now it was dark out. We heard nothing, nothing showed up in the surveillance we set on each street in our block two weeks ago. I sat in front of the computer in my bunker for hours until it was 8:30 pm. And just before I give up and call one of the boys to take my place, an alert shows up on the new cameras. It was the entrance of the Al-Abdily road.

I swallowed hard thinking that this is actually happening, but I told myself to leave every thought aside for once until we're over with this and I ran upstairs. I saw Alexander from afar check the walls and the boys are still with the women.

"GUY!" I called out and everyone looked at me. I nodded my head and they got what I meant, it was hard to admit. "How much?" James asked. "They just entered Al-Abdily farms" I revealed. "Okay that gives us 30 minutes tops" Alexander approached the group sprinting and so did I. "this is the time people... go get ready" He ordered them and they went to their rooms to get ready into more practical clothes and wear the protective gear we got for them from the police station we looted.

Everyone brought their stuff to the main yard and started gearing up. My armory was laid on the tables beside the wooden block covers. We all looked at each other and back at the tables, "Gear up boys... it's gonna be a long day" Matthew announced. At the table was some Glocks, AKs, M16s, some Sako TRG 22 A1s, machine guns, hand grenades, and smoke grenades. Each of us did something; most of us loaded our guns, some were wearing their helmets and making sure the others had their protection plate on, and others put mufflers on their weapons. Each of us took their piece and locked and loaded it, making sure to take extra magazines and clips. We started to take grenades and pocket knives.

We all looked at each other and nodded that we are ready. "Time for some action baby" I smirked looking at everyone in gear.

I made sure that whoever is not participating in the fight is with everyone up in the balcony at the far end of it. I sprinted back to where the fighters were and joined them. We all stood in front of the main gate, anticipating. Silence overtook our whole camp for a minute, I could hear every breath they were taking. "Okay everyone to their station" I ordered as the gates opened before us.
