We arrived at Pentos after a whole day of travelling on top of the dragons.

We landed just outside of the city, as Daemon instructed, and were welcomed by a large group of Pentoshi.

All four of us dismounted Silverwing and Vermithor and let the three dragons rest after a day of travel. "Welcome! Welcome," a man nearly shouted with a smile. We turned to him, confused about who he was. "I am the prince of the city of Pentos. My name is Haratis. Welcome princess" he came to shake my hand and so I did. "Did Daemon warn you that I am coming?" I asked. "Yes, princess. To make your stay as comfortable as possible" Haratis stated. "Thank you so much but you do not have to" I replied. "Nonsense princess, it is my greatest pleasure... now let's go and see Prince Daemon's manse you'll be staying in with your guards. It is outside the city wall so you'll have lots of quiet times and no one will bother you" Haratis stated as he began to walk toward the manse and with us behind him.

Haratis is the nominal ruler of the Free City of Pentos, elected by the magisters to act as the city's figurehead. He showed us around the manse and introduced us to some of the important people in Pentos who welcomed us and also the head maid responsible of all of the manse.

After the Pentoshi magisters and princes has left, me and the boys stayed in the courtyard just in the middle of the manse. "I guess this is home for a while" James spoke. "Yup" Matthew added and Alexander sighed. I turned to them and breathed, "Okay listen! It's been a while since we rested, from the tour and then straight here. Y'all need rest okay? Do not worry about the bags, the safety, or me. My dragons are surrounding the house right now so no one will dare to intrude and the maids will take care of the bags. Just think of this place as a vacation house okay? Sleep boys over 10 hours at least, we deserve it... do you need something before I go to sleep?" I asked. "Yeah where do we sleep? There is no guards Hall or a tower here?" Alexander asked. "This isn't the Seven Kingdoms, it's the Free Cities. Choose your own, but not the main chambers it's for me" I stated smirking at the boys.

And with that information, James and Matthew started racing to take the second best room after mine. Me and Alex calmly walked up stairs, "you're not worried to get a shitty room?" I asked. "If I wanted to I can easily take their rooms but having a shitty room will make me get out of it more often" he replied. "Make sense" I nodded chuckling after seeing the other two fight. "Don't be loud and don't make me come after you, I need to sleep. Goodnight everyone" I warned and then got into my room.

As I entered the chambers, alone, I couldn't help but think of how I disappointed a lot of people I cared about. My big brother for how I was too worried about some people who weren't my own, Rhaenyra for how I left again without considering saying goodbye, Jace and Luke after I promised that I won't leave again, Joffrey for lying to him, and somehow I feel guilty about Cregan.

Eventually, I need to take care of myself, I need to put me first for once. And that is what I am here to do. I am here to heal and to take care of myself and no one will make me feel selfish about putting myself first or gonna patronize me. The ones who truly care about me will understand and encourage me to do so.

I chose to write a letter to Cregan cause he is the only one I owe something to write and apologize for leaving like that and not answering him.

After I wrote the letter I put it on my desk and fell right asleep.

I've never slept like that in my whole life. I slept until my bones and muscles begged me to get up and move a little, and so I did.
