The Lord Commander of the Night's Watch wouldn't agree of sharing the information until we are well-fed and rested before the meeting. "The meeting with the clans beyond the Wall is on the morrow, at mid day. In the morning I will speak about everything but now I will not have the Queen and King of the Seven Kingdoms tiredly listening to me while hungry and thirsty after two whole days of riding. Eat, drink and rest. The King's tower is prepped for you and we've brought cattle to your dragons, your Grace" Lothor Burley spoke and we nodded, agreeing.

Before we headed to the King's Tower to rest, Visenya stopped me as she saw the iron cage attached to the winch elevator. She turned to me, wide-eyed and excited, "can we go up there?" she asked with a big smile on her face. I wouldn't say no to her even if it isn't allowed and damn whoever stop me, her smile and her eyes are my weakness. "Anything for my darling wife" I held her cheek and kissed her forehead, pulling her closer to me. It was cold here in the North and especially near the Wall, even when me and her wore fur coats and heavy fabrics, we still shivered.

I signalled a knight to take us up to the Wall and he nodded without hesitation and told us to follow him. The three of us entered the iron cage and then the knight closed it and signalled to the other knights above to start the winch to pull us up. I wrapped my arm around Visenya's shoulders and pulled her closer to me as she watched Castle Black beneath us appear smaller and smaller as we elevated. "It is no dragonback riding but it is beautiful, ay?" I smiled down at her as she looked in awe at the size of the Wall, nodding and grinning.

We reached the top of the Wall and I climbed up to the froze ledge, I helped my wife to do the same after the knight with us got out. We turned to see what lies beyond the Wall and inhaled the icy cold air deeply, cleansing our lungs. We stared into the forests before us in silence as I kept her in my arms, protecting her from the harsh cold weather of the North. "Ohhh can you feel how cold it is?" Visenya put her hand on the lookout point, against the frozen wall. "It's made of ice" I stated, smirking at her as she looked up to me with a grin and shaking her head, "No, Cregan. This Wall is made of blood" she blurts and I furrow my brows, not understanding her point. "Do you know the stories about the Wall?" she questioned, glancing at me and then looking forward. "There are a lot of them, which one you mean, my love?" I asked as I rubbed her back. "My father, Baelon the Brave," she smiled sweetly when she mentioned him, "he told me stories every night. True stories but not to scare me like my brothers but to educate me so I could be better than them" she chuckled and inhaled deeply, "yes the Wall is forged by solid ice, stone and earth but there are also old spells, woven into the Wall... Magic and blood spells to keep unwanted visitors from passing" She looked up at me, in all seriousness. I knew the Wall's myths but never thought Visenya would believe them. "The Night's Watch has forgotten its true purpose, Cregan. You don't build a wall seven hundred feet high to keep savages in skins from stealing women. The Wall was made to guard the realms of men ... and not against other men, which is all the wildlings are when you come right down to it. Too many years, Cregan, too many hundreds and thousands of years. We lost sight of the true enemy... my father used to say" Visenya finishes. "And you believe these myths?" I questioned as I rested my chin on her head, both looking at what lies beyond. "I believe what my own eyes see. But I do not also dismiss what other believe wholeheartedly of. But these myths came from a source not just scary stories to frighten the children." she replied and I chuckle, "you believe in the Others, don't you?". "Not wholeheartedly but... I know there is something out there whether it is good or bad, I do not know" she admits. "Whatever it is, you can lie and sleep peacefully. Your dragons and I won't let a single creature, man or otherwise, come near you" I promised her, smiling. She turns to face me and kiss me.
