Chapter Twenty One

Alexander and I sat on the windowsill for an hour looking at the beach. We sat in silence, enjoying each other's company. "Did you eat?" he asked. "Not much. didn't feel like eating today" I replied. "Where'd you go last night?" he questioned. "I couldn't walk because of the curfew so I went to Aunt Muneerah's suite and slept with Ameerah. She's having a hard time sleeping. She used to sleep with Haya every night" I spoke low. He nodded rubbing the side of my arm to let me know he understands.

Half an hour later we saw Matthew and James walking around on the beach. "Having a romantic stroll down the beach you two?" I asked, getting their attention. They all chuckled. "Did you know they had a whole ass community here? I was shocked at lunch. 200 and even MORE" James said. "Yeah they told me they saved as much as they could when it all happened" Alex replied. "I wanna swim!" Matthew said out of nowhere looking at the beach. "What?" Alexander was confused. "I wanna swim in the beach. It looks so beautiful" Matthew repeated. "I wanna do it too" James excitedly clapped. I turned to Alexander. "Do you?" I asked. "It's been years since I swam in the ocean. I do" he grinned. I nodded and then get in back at the classroom, so did Alex.

We joined the boys at the beach. "So do we do it?" Matthew asked. "Go for it... I'm gonna bring y'all towels and new sets of underwear from your drawer, is that okay?" I told them. "Thank youuu" James took off his shirt immediately, and dropped his cigarette on the ground. I was about to leave to get their stuff but I hand gripped my waist and Alexander pulled me toward him. I was squesed in between his arms and to his chest. "Can I kiss you?" he asked grinning. "Stop asking and do it" I chuckled. His hands were on my waist as he pulled me closer. Then his lips were on mine. He pulls me into the kiss with one hand and his other hand was on my chin. I did not want this kiss to be over, it was sweet but also steamy. He pulls away slowly. "I missed you" he whispers. "I missed you more McSteamy" I giggled. "Not a chance. And it's McDreamy" he raised his eyebrows. I pulled even back surprised. "So you approve of the nickname?" I asked happily. "If that makes you this happy? Then sure" he chuckled at my excitement, tracing my lips gently. I kissed his cheeks and turned to leave. Smiling.

I come to him and my worries destroy mountains... and I leave with laughter on my face.

I went to the palace and got the boys extra clothes and some towels my friends provided for us and headed back to the beach where they were. When I arrived I saw them already in the water. Diving, race swimming, and trying to drown each other. They acted like a couple of teenagers on their summer break at the beach. I laughed at James trying to catch a breath while both Alexander and Matty tried to drown him. I sat near the shore and laid down their clothes and towels next to me.

After ten minutes I heard voices come in toward us. I turned to see all my friends approaching us. "Can we join you, angel?" Athby asked loudly from afar. I motioned them to come and they did. They all sat around me, all ten of them and Nawaf was next to me. "Hey beautiful" Nawaf greeted as he sat down beside me. "Hey buddy" I smiled at him. We both looked at the guys messing around. Then for no reason at all James decided to jump from the cliff next to the marina. "My god James! You're wet and it is freezing, you'll get sick" I complained as he ran past me to climb the cliff. "You only live once KK" he stated loudly as he started to climb the cliff. "It's been a long time huh?" Nawaf leaned in and said low. I turned to him a little confused. "Since we sat down together and just talked. I miss that" he clarified. "Yeah I know... I missed you guys so much" I side-hugged him and he rubbed my back in return. I saw Alexander glance at us a couple of times but thought nothing of it. Nawaf kept glancing from me and the boys back and forth. "What is it Nawaf? I know you. You're dying to say something" I chuckled. "Am I still in the friend zone?" he chuckles lightly. "Nawaf..." I sighed smiling, not wanting to bring this topic again. "Oh so still? Nevermind. Forget that I even asked" he mumbled smiling at me. I nodded turning my attention to the boys.
