Chapter Twenty Eight

Me, Alexander, James, and Matthew sat around the fire we built earlier. Our horses are few feet away from us.

"What happened back there?" Matthew asked. "I have a duty to do for the realm and my brother insists over and over again" I replied. "If it gets him off your back why not do it?" He questioned. Alexander looked at me and waited for my answer. "I have to get married to some tedious lord, Matty" I answered. James and Matthew shot back to Alexander and waited for his reaction, but he did not react. "That is such bullshit" James said low and I nodded. "Do not get worried. No one will take me away from him. I'd rather die than to marry a stranger that just wants my status" I comforted and they nodded impressed. I looked at Alexander who was not happy of what I said. "I don't want to be a divider between you and your brother and your duties" he spoke low. "This subject was a divider between me and His Grace since I have come of age... you have nothing to do with it" I admitted.

We all sat down, quietly and stared at the fire with sleepy eyes. We were about to sleep but we heard sounds just beside our spot. The horses seemed distressed. Alexander and Matthew draw their swords to the dark woods, and James approached my side and stood by me. Alex and Matt were approaching the bushes slowly and with their blades up. "Please god don't let it be a wolf" James whispered by my side. And out of the bushed jumped a big boar with long tusks and knocked down Alexander and Matthew. James tried to pull me away but I have fallen into the ground and that boar was rushing toward me, hitting James in the knee and then becoming on top of me.

I tried my hardest to make a distance between myself and the boar by holding its tusks and pushing it away, but the boar fought harder. And As I became weaker, a sword went through the middle part of the boar's body and fell to the side. I opened my eyes to see that it was Alexander who dug the sword into the boar. He fell to his knees laughing at how we all looked after fighting a boar. But it was cut short with the boar waking up and going after me, it it was injured by Alex but no dead yet.

I jumped into the boar and took my dagger and started stabbing it multiple times. Over and over again until Alex picked me off of the dead boar.

After we slept, we woke up early and gathered our stuff and carried the boar in a stroller behind the horses and we'll drag him with us. I got up my horse and was stopped by Alexander. "Veen, your face" he noted. "What about it?" I asked, confused. "You're covered with blood" he smirked. "Shit... do you have water on you?" I asked. "No but let them see you like this... maybe the Lannister will reconsider after realizing you're not the princess he thought you'd be" Alex smiled to himself. "What is that supposed to mean?" I asked smirking. "Some men are terrified of being with women stronger than them" He stated. "Are you?" I questioned. "Do you think of me as weak as them?" his smirk grew wider. I shook my head smiling and then horses moved in sync.

As we descended from our horses when we reached camp, the boys were either handling the horses or the big boar I killed. I started walking through the royal camp, I noticed that the my family and the noblemen and ladies were eating breakfast. Alexander was behind me as I cut my way to the royal tent to take a shower.

Every eye in camp fell on me. I glanced at my brothers and their families and then walked tall and confident. I saw Rhaenyra with her boys and Leanor Velaryon smile and nod at me, as if they said 'the old Visenya is here now'. I caught the eyes of both Lord Cregan Stark and his advisor Lord Benjen Mormont. Lord Mormont was shocked with wide eyes, but Lord Stark was smirking as if he was proud and impressed. Lord Stark nodded at me and I continued my way to our tent.
