After she buried her grief and vengeance took over her will, Visenya tried her best to leave Dragonstone and head for the capital to 'execute the lot of them' as she said. But I kept her and blocked every way she could escape and begged her to wait for the army.
I remained seated on the ground in front of her chamber in case she tried anything while she thought I was asleep.
Suddenly, in the middle of the night, she opens her doors. "No Visenya, return to your bed. One more day left!" I ordered but she ignored me and approached where I sat and sat beside me on the floor.
"I'm sorry I was such a pain in your ass. I genuinely appreciate you being here with me" Visenya said in a quiet tone as she stared forward. "Hey! That's what's friends are for, yeah?" I nudged her shoulder with mine as she smiled, still staring forward. "I'm scared" her breath hitched. "Hey, we will win this! We have the largest army Westeros has ever seen and you and your scary dragons" I told her the truth. "Not this" She shakes her head and turns to me, her eyes are watering and her cheeks are red. "Then from what?" I worriedly questioned her. "Of what comes afterward" She held back a sob and rested her head over my shoulder. "We will figure it out, step by step... just know that you are not completely alone" I comforted as I wrapped my hand around her shoulder and pulled her closer as we sat on the floor in a dark hallway.
Visenya was not dead, but not alive either. She's just a ghost with a beating heart now. A ghost who swore vengeance to those who've wronged her.
Visenya's POV:
I haven't realized that I had fallen asleep, on Benjen's shoulder, on the ground until I woken up the next day.
I ran to my room and changed into my armour for the last time. Today whether I die or the Usurper would. "Princess?" Benjen's sleepy voice called for me. I opened the door, fully ready and equipped with all the methods I would kill Aegon with, including my bare hands. "Today's the day... get ready and I'll wait by the doors with Cannibal" I ordered as he sighed, "uh I forgot about him. Can we take a ship instead?" he asked and I shook my head, "it'll take longer to get to the capital. I want this to end today!" I said as I walked away.
"Visenya? Just promise me you won't die in the process of your revenge" Benjen arrived at the gates. "I have nothing left to lose... now come one" I admitted as I mounted the Cannibal, extending my hand to him. "You have your life, your entire life! You have Alexander, James, Matthew, me... and Cregan!" he spoke but I said nothing. I can't focus on multiple things today only one, Aegon's head on a spike as his mother watches.
Within the hour, we arrived at Kings Landing and that was not all we saw. We saw a great army surrounding the capital from all sides, even the Blackwater Bay. The North, The Vale, and The Riverlands have kept their promise, even after the Queen is gone. Seeing this made me sigh a relief. "See? I told you you are not alone" Benjen cheered as I went upon Cannibal right in front of the steps of the Red Keep, exactly landed at the bridge connected the castle with the capital. "Oh landing right in the middle of enemy's territory without back up? Here we go" Benjen stated shocked as we both dismounted my dragon.
"Who said you did not have back up?" Alexander spoke, surprising the two of us. When we turned we saw him, James, Matthew, and Cregan waiting by the gates of the castle. "Did you not see the 23 thousand men behind those walls?" James stated as he smiled. "What happened? You all are bloody and disgusting!" Benjen remarked as I glanced at Cregan, who waited for me to say something. "We arrived as the Baratheon forces were keeping the peace in Kings Landing was about to leave under the command of Lord Borros Baratheon. We won the battle, kept the peace in the city, and locked Aegon and his few allies in the castle. Surrounding every angle so he could not escape" Matthew informed. "He is in there, waiting" Cregan spoke and I nodded coldly, I did not want to speak because if I talked I will lose presious time and I didn't want Aegon to live another second than he already has.
