Hours pass by of watching everyone unload the cars and settle in and Kami sitting on the porch chair. Alexander, James and Matthew joined her, "I thought your equipment made you guys look big but god you are big" she joked on seeing them in their black sweatshirt and military cargo pants with pistol on their hips. They smirked chuckling a little, while James blew his cigarettes. "I didn't see you settle in" Alexander questioned, "oh no I just need a pillow and my blanket and I'll sleep there" Kami pointed at the text on the left side of the main house, "what? You can't sleep in there! It's too risky" Alexander argued, "what do you really expect me to sleep in a crowded room with my mother? You are insane. The crowd I can take but add my mom to the mix? By the end of the night you have to dig a grave... it's either her or me. So no I am not in the mood for that" Kami chuckled, "and it is perfectly safe, it is a tent so I can hear what happening outside" she added, "isn't it too cold tonight?" Matthew asked worryingly, "don't worry I have a heater" she said.

"By the way, you have a big family, like literally!" James said looking at them finishing the unloading, "tell me about it, Arabs that's what we do when we're bored... procreate" Kami laughed with the soldiers, "by the way it's too much calling them from my mother side or my father side. Lesson one is that my uncles from my father's side are called uncles, and uncles for my mother's side are Khaly singular and Khwaly plural okay? Their wives I call some auntie out of respect but some by their names because I mostly hate them. Cousins from each side are just called by their names." she explained, and they nodded.

After everyone settled in they all started coming to where Kami and the soldiers asking what they will feed the children. They did not pack for starting a settlement, they only packed for the road. And the farm was not equipped for a whole family gathering possibly forever.

"Okay we have a supermarket only 3 minutes away by car, tomorrow we can go and now I'm sure the kitchen has something to feed them for tonight?" Kami was talking to the soldiers and then turned to her grandmother, "yes we can make white rice but that's all I have, I haven't restocked since last weekend's lunch here" grandma affirmed, "okay cool then tomorrow" Kami agreed.

"I think we go now and restock and for a while because after a while every store will be empty and picked-over and we won't have anything but empty shelves, now is a good time, perfect time actually. People are still in a haze, scared or not ready to venture out" James countered, "yes and we need water, anything run by a facility will be meaningless soon" Matthew added, "we have a water facility right next to the supermarket, we can take the water truck after we fill them" Khali Mansour proposed. "Okay but we cannot leave my family right?" Kami protested, "they will be inside locking every door and shutting every window. In addition, we already need to cover every window and door glass with newspaper or boards, woods anything to not see inside. So as they do this safely inside and protected, James and Matthew will take a car to that water station and fill every water truck and take all those trucks here, one drives the truck and the other watch out and go back to the same thing with every truck, leave nothing okay? You and me will go to the supermarket and come back to help them if they're not done yet" Alexander made the plan and it sounded perfect.

Kami's POV:

After the sun sets I went to my bag and took my splitting axe in hand, an M4A1 hung to my back, and a desert eagle on my hip with the rest of my stuff on my gear belt.

I was exhausted, I did not have any time to take a breath and realise what was happening and what IS happening, I could really use a doughnut but other than that I look badass... and I was.
