I marched on horseback in the front of the army with the head lords of every house that supported the Black Queen. I was between the Northeners, Lord Benjen Mormont and Lord Cregan Stark.
Night fell as we kept getting closer and closer to Tumbleton. Lord Roderick Dustin made sure that the men were ready for attack, as he continuously rode to the back of the army to check any weak spots and fix them, alongside Lord Benjicot Blackwood.
We finally reached a hill that overlooked the market town, Tumbleton. I turned my horse to face the army of brave and loyal men, "If we win this battle, the Greens will lose the hopes of raising another. We destroyed most of their allies' armies and we will continue destroying the last one, the Hightower's host. After this? We are considered done and we will just need to return to Kings Landing... ensuring our Queen's seat and I will find both the traitor brothers and end them" I smirked as the men nodded. "It is been an honour to fight alongside all of you, from lords, knights, guards, men-at-arms, and archers... thank you" I nodded as I returned to my post.
The lords and I agreed that I should ride one of my dragons, destroy any defences they have and catch them by surprise as they battle down the gates.
I ran with the horse back to my dragons, who roamed the skies at the far end of the army's back. Vermithor descended to the ground as he saw me. I mounted the Bronze Fury as I prayed for our souls.
The dragon roared as we flew above Tumbleton and then we opened fire. With Cannibal and Silverwing flying by Vermithor's side. "Dracarys!" I barked as the Bronze Fury, the Cannibal, and Silverwing flew over town and burned everything as the screams and squesls of men became too loud. Cannibal headed outside the gates and burned the Green's camp outside to ensure they won't attack our army, as well as the buildings with me that survived the previous sack. It was night and as we lit the town on fire, it seemed like daytime.
I saw that our men managed to battle down the gates and entered the market town. I knew if I continued the attack from above that I might kill or wound one of ours, so I ordered each dragon of mine to guard each gateway and prevent any Green that would escape. I walked through the gates as Cannibal roared behind me with a sword and shield in each hand.
As men charged against me, Bloodweep clashed against their swords, swinging at them, charging, punching and ending lives as I made my way to the middle of the town. I turned around and saw that both Benjen and Cregan were cornered by Ser Hobert Hightower and his men, two of us against hundreds of them.
I charged at them and made my way to the two northerners with difficulty as I sliced and stabbed through the Hightowers. "Cregan" I panted as I stood by his side and Benjen's. He and Ben glanced at me before nodded, and we butchered our way through their circle. Blood spurting everywhere, men begging as we killed them. The three of us mangaed to end the circle of Hightowers cornering us and killed the lot of them.
I turned to them smirking as I admired how we managed to do this, but saw that Cregan suffered a cut on his face. My eyes widened as I ran to him, cupping his face and examining it with a worried look. "It's just blood, not a wound. Only blood from my head" Cregan chuckled as he took my hand and kissed it and I was relieved. I was about to say something to him and to Benjen but I saw someone run to the stables, someone I wanted to face. "Later," I said as I ran to the stables.
"Hugh Hammer... the betrayer" I spoke, announcing my presence. Hugh turned and stared at me. "I did what I had to do to survive" Hugh reasoned with a smirk. "Really? We were winning the First Battle of Tumbleton... until you and Ulf decided to turn your back at your Queen" I snarled, "we offered you lands, riches, and dragons!". "I am asking for more" Hugh explained before trying to get on a horse. "What could you possibly want more?" I questioned as I mimicked his movement. "To be King" Hugh smirked as he put the saddle on his horse. I couldn't hold back my laugh and he was annoyed and pissed off. "My Gods... the bastards now wish to be Kings" I smirked. "Yes... just like the two dead sons of the 'Queen' were bastards and named heirs to the throne" He snickered and it was all for me to charge at him.
